I had a WIDE range of different music to play, and DJ Lew really worked to put a little of everything on in the time allotted (hip-hop, bluegrass, zydeco, merengue, punta, jazz, house...etc.) . He emailed, called me, and called my mom to clear up a request I had made (I had listed a song by the wrong artist, and he just wanted to make sure he had the song that I was thinking of). He and his wife were friendly and professional from beginning to end AND they were the most reasonably priced professional DJ I could find. I felt relaxed knowing he was taking care of everything, and that he did. Thank you for a great time dancing!!

It was a real pleasure working with DJ Lew and especially having him on our special day.
He was professional and still very friendly at all times and knew how to set the right mood!

We hired DJ Lew for our wedding reception. DJ Lew was very professional and accommodating. He played all the songs that we asked for, did all the announcements, had professional equipment. Everything went great and we are very pleased. Highly recommend DJ Lew to anyone.

DJ Lewis was punctual, dressed appropriately and rocked the house. He read our audience very well and the music he played kept everyone on the dance floor for the entire reception. Dj Lew did a great job for us. We had a great deal of specific requests and adds to his playlist including "Irish rock and traditional Irish muscic" and he can up big! He got to the party on time setup with ease and inserted himself throughout the night perfectly. When his time was up we requested that he stay a little longer to keep things going which he did without any hesitation. I would highly recommend Dj Lew for any event.

For the most part DJ Lew did a good job. However, he had 'technical' issues at the beginning os the dance part of the wedding that resulted in about 5 minutes of nothing. He did not play the correct song for our fist dance or the father/bride dance. I'm not sure all of it can be placed on his plate since we were rather slow in providing the script and did not forward it until 3 days before the wedding. But, he was able to find Weird Al's "Eat It" for the cake cutting but could not play "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol for our first dance.

DJ Lew is a GREAT person and very professional! My only issue was I had requested genres, artists and songs ahead of time, but I felt as if he played songs no one really knew. Also, some of my specific requests weren't played and there were a couple times where there was a lag/pause in music after an announcement to the crowd was made or game was played.

Thank for my review. Every song on your list was played and the music I had selected was the most popular songs from the genre's you had requested. I also covered the older guest you had present at your event as well. I am not sure when you say your guest did not know the songs because from what I saw they were tapping their feet and singing along with the music that I played. As far as the lag/pause goes, you did not mention there would be so many games played ahead of time so you were making changes and request on the fly which resulted in a slight delay. Had I been made aware of the changes ahead of time there would have not been any lag/pause at all.

We hired DJ Lew and got DJ Big L. DJ Big L was friendly and fairly professional. Unfortunately, he got several of the songs wrong including songs for the processional and the song for cutting the cake. The titles for the songs and the times for when they had to be played where clearly written on the timeline. Also the volume for the songs played at dinner was too quiet for anyone to hear.

DJ Lew was on time and dressed appropriately. He was also courteous. This is why I give him a 4.5 on professionalism but his performance was very disappointing. There were ackward silent moments and he didnt play many of the songs we requested durring the reception.I asked for 3 slow songs to play and he didnt play any of them. In addition I specifically requested no lewd lyrics or unedited songs due to the elder and younger people in attendance and he played Rhianna's S&M and Teach Me How to Dougie , the CD edit which you can cleary make out the "B word". Overall I was disappointed in DJ's Lew's performance and would not recommend him for a wedding.

I was disappointed to not have heard many of the songs that we requested be played. We spent quite a bit of time creating a timeline/songs upon the DJ's request and then very few of the songs were played. We had to re-request those we heard. The song we chose for our first dance, he did not have the version we wanted and did not mention this to us until right before the song was played, although he had our playlist weeks before the wedding. Finally, although he was laid back, he crossed a professional boundary by hitting on/dancing with & even exchanging phone numbers with one of our wedding guest.

Considering the fact that I did play all of your song request and then some, I kept your guest dancing all night long. As far as the song you picked for first dance " A Moment Like This " by Leona Lewis was not avaiable and I did try to find this song for three weeks prior to your event. When the song was not avaiable for download I felt that instead of not having no song, I used Kelly Clarkson's version which is the exact same song. Also as far as the hitting/dancing, if you say that I crossed line then I apologize for this but I like to interact with the crowd when things get slow because most of them had left for evening.
