The Bailsmen performed at our wedding for our ceremony and cocktail hour. They did an amazing job. They were easy to work with on a few special requests we wanted and played a great selection of fun jazz music that really made our guests smile, they showed up on time and on schedule and kept their promises. It honestly could not have gone more smoothly. I highly recommend them for your event.

We absolutely loved The Bailsmen. They brought a unique energy and spirit to our wedding, from the ceremony to cocktail hour, to an amazing hora - and we got so many great comments from our guests. The Bailsmen were consummate professionals and the saviors of our wedding. When our first band cancelled unexpectedly, close to our date, The Bailsmen swooped in to save the day. And they absolutely killed it. From the vintage victrola horn used as megaphone to the thumping strums of the upright bass, the music sounded as good as it looked. We would recommend them highly to anyone considering a booking.

We were thrilled to have the Bailsmen play at our wedding.
Many of our guests approached us days after the event and commented on, among other things, how great the band was. Some sat and listened for hours because it felt like a small, private concert. Throughout the planning process, Abraham was open to hearing our requests and giving professional opinions when we asked for them.

We asked The Bailsmen to come play at a small wedding party in Brooklyn. Every encounter we had with them up to the event, planning the party and on the day of the party was professional. We hired the Bailsmen to perform at our wedding at the Museum of the Moving Image. From the initial contact to the night of the wedding, they were the friendliest, most accommodating, and thoroughly professional guys to work with. And the music! They were spectacular! Not a few people said that it was like having the best, most intimate French/gypsy hot jazz quintet in the world playing for you and your friends. And as a bonus, they are as handsome as they are talented. At the end of the evening, they asked to take pictures with us. What more could one possibly want at the end of a long day? :)

These guys were great. Easy to deal with before and during the event. Great depth to the 3 hour set list we asked for our wedding celebration. I did not hear a negative remark from the 100+ guests; everyone loved them. Highly recommended.

The Bailsmen were great to work with. Both professional and easy going, they were the perfect addition to our party. The music was great and totally fit the nod to the 1920s that the party needed. They were friendly and courteous with guests and came in attire that fit the theme and music we were having them play as well.
They were great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a good Jazz band.

I am so happy that we hired The Bailsmen for the cocktail hour at our wedding reception. They are incrediably talented (check youtube) and they really set the mood for the eveninig. When our guest walked into the reception, they were already playing, adding a whole level of Brooklyn-chic elegance. Since the wedding, we have recieved bountiful feeback on them: "where did you find them", "they are so talented - and I know musicians", "they are so handsome", "what amazing musicians", etc, etc, etc. We have looked back at our wedding these past few weeks, and realize that, for the $$, hiring The Bailsmen was one of the best value added for the evening. Hire them!

The Bailsmen played at our wedding reception yesterday and provided exactly the mood we were hoping for.
Abraham kept in great communication throughout the booking and planning and preparation process. All we had to do was tell him the three instruments we wanted and The Bailsmen showed up at our reception right on time and created a great event. They were very easygoing and fun and our guests raved about them.
We will book them again as soon as possible!

Talented is too small a word to describe these gifted musicians. 200 guests arrived to their wonderful music and carried the mood of the entire evening. If your budget allows, book the entire band without hesitation!! Cool, hip and a great presentation!

The Bailsmen were great!! We had an outdoor lawn ceremony with cocktail hour and they were perfect. Their selection of music is outstanding and sets a festive and joyful atmosphere. They are very skilled musicians who easily created the style we were hoping for. Their gypsy jazz repertoire was unique but familiar and allowed all of our guests, regardless of age, to enjoy it. They were lovely. The accordionist played outside while our guests waited, then played the wedding march when I arrived. Everyone was delighted. Later, at the reception, they added just the right touch to our festivities. And they were sweet and charming. We would definitely recommend them.

I recommend this band without any reservation. Incredible band. Very talented musicians and easy to work with! They played our wedding (cocktail hour, ceremony, and first part of dinner) in Brooklyn and everyone at the wedding was very impressed (including a head symphony pianist). People started dancing during dinner because there toes were tapping :)

Many of the guest who had musical training were impressed by the Bailsman. Dealing with them was very easy and they were very responsive to questions and concerns we had. If we were to have another event that needed live music we would not hesitate to hire them again.
Actually my wife and I try to catch them when they have local public gigs. that is how impressed and actually enjoy their music.
