We really enjoyed working with Abe to prepare for our upcoming wedding. He was open to special requests, and was easygoing throughout the whole process! Having them play jazz during dinner was a huge success, our guests loved the added ambiance. I also loved that during the reception, they were able to play a variety of pop and other dance songs to suit the vibe at any given moment on the dance floor. We received so many compliments that I highly recommend the Abe Train to anyone considering them for their event!

The Abe Train were very accommodating in playing the music selections of our choice as well as having an impressive list of their own selections covering a range of jazz, swing, R&B danceable tunes. We communicated by email regularly to be sure all plans were on track. They were on time, dressed appropriately and many guests commented on their excellent performance. Nearly all guests was up dancing, making it a wonderfully fun event. We highly recommend them as a classy, professional, swing dance band, and we appreciate being able to hear one another talk at the dinnertime while they played their cool jazz. Thank You. I jwant to extend our thanks to Abe and the other members of the Abe Train for there performance at our holiday celebration. The music was exactly what we wanted; jazz classics and today’s hits. The quartet was definitely one of the talking points of the evening. Everyone had a fantastic time and we will certainly recommend The Abe Train for future events.

The Abe Train went above and beyond my expectations for my wedding reception! When we were hit with unanticipated expenses last minute, The Abe Train really worked with us to figure out an agreement that would fit our new budget. They were the definition of professional. All my guests were captivated by their music and told me how much they enjoyed the band. My wedding would not have been as amazing as it was without them.

We booked The Abe Train for an engagement party - they were incredible! Everyone was so impressed with the music! Many of our guests asked for contact information for their future events. The group was also incredibly proffessional and a joy to work with. Abe was very accommodating on calls before our recent. We met the rest of the group before the event started - they were all such nice guys and self-sufficient, taking care of all of their pre-party needs. I would highly recommend The Abe Train and plan to use them for our future parties.

The Abe Train played for a very high profile event my law firm hosted recently. Abe responded to my request for availability within 30 min and we had a call the following Saturday to discuss the details. I booked and paid them through this site (so easy!) and they showed up early looking sharp. They are total pros - super talented musicans, polished, friendly. I had a million things to do for this event and was so grateful to have hired a great band that totally delivered in every aspect. Would absolutely hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking to hire a cool, young jazz outfit. A+!

The Abe Train was fantastic! They are all incredible musicians and were accommodating to all our requests, namely the fact that our venue had a no-amplification requirement, which is not an easy feat. Their playlist was a lot of fun and got people dancing, even tho it was strictly a selection of jazz or jazz arrangements. Had we not had the restriction, we would've loved to have amped them up for some more pop/dance songs, which is easily in their repertoire.
I would strongly recommend The Abe Train again. They were a great goup of talented musicians, had a great repertoire, were easy to communicate with, worked within our budget, and were a lot of fun!

Garuda Blue was an incredible band. I had every party guest asking how I found them, and they immediately wanted to book them for their next party. My only very small comment would be that it was an elderly birthday party, and while all of us younger people were AMAZED by their set, the birthday girl didn't know as many of the songs. Regardless have them at your party you will not regret one second.

Garuda Blue was nothing short of magnificent at my mother’s memorial. Do NOT hesitate to hire them! Their choices of material were perfect. Their musicianship was outstanding. Their interaction with guests was wonderful. They set just the right tone for the day and sounded amazing. They were also very flexible. The event planner put them in the wrong spot and they were not only uncomplaining about moving, they were helpful in finding the solution. They were completely independent and didn’t ask anything of me while I was hosting a very emotional event. Plus, they were just really nice people. I couldn’t have been happier.

Second time our demanding family and associates used these worthy fellows. Not only did they rovide perfect music for our large occasions but accomodated our "sitting in" (we are a family of jazz musicians).
They did a very large wedding for us in SF and recently a very large birthday party. Both a success with their help.
They go from bebop to dance music with ease and really know how to professionally handle any type event situation.
Highly recommended.
