Tom truly is a one man band, and a true talent, a rare gem in the wedding DJ business. He will learn songs for you, plays several instruments during cocktail hour and dinner, and will pick the perfect late night sing-a-long that will bring down the house. As the wedding was drawing to a close the last thing we heard from our guest was them chanting, "ONE MORE SONG, ONE MORE SONG..." We are still hearing from our guests, and heard several times during the wedding, how incredible Tom was as a musician and a DJ. Tom is a great emcee as well, and will make your wedding day flow with perfection. Thanks Tom!

My husband and I booked Tom for our Newport wedding based solely on his Gigmaster reviews and his videos. Our family and friends thought we were crazy that we booked him without ever seeing him play live, but he exceeded any and all expectations we could have ever imagined for our wedding entertainment. He is beyond talented having played at our ceremony, during cocktail hour and during our reception. Our guests started dancing before the appetizers were served and NEVER sat down! We were married over a month ago and our guests are still telling us that it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding and I can wholeheartedly say that Tom Bruhl was the differnce!

Tom was phenomenal! Easy to work with leading up to our wedding and made great suggestions for songs. At the wedding, he was an absolute hit. I would say over half of my guests commented on his amazing talent performing as well as how good of a DJ he was. With Tom, you get the benefit of a live band and a great DJ and way less than you'd pay for either. I can't recommend Tom highly enough!

Tom was absolutely wonderful - he went above and beyond our expectations and we HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone looking for wedding entertainment. Tom Bruhl is a triple threat; not only is he a great D.J. but he also plays instruments AND sings... we left the song selections entirely up to his discretion for the entire night and he had everyone out on the dance floor up to the very end. Tom drove out to Cape Cod for our wedding to play flute for our outdoor ceremony (gorgeous), he played both the saxaphone and guitar,and sang for cocktail hour and dinner, and put on a GREAT dance party. I cannot give this man enough praise. Book him - you won't regret it!

We booked Tom for our recent wedding, to perform both at our ceremony & reception. Not only did he play a great acoustic guitar, he learned 2 songs that we requested for the ceremony. We gave Tom the artistic freedom to play flute/guitar during the cocktail and he did not disappoint. The dance floor was packed all night and everyone had nothing but good things to say about Tom. We met with Tom and instantly knew he was our guy. After a quick meeting at his house, everything else was done via email, which was easy. If you are looking for someone to not just play CDs, but to also perform using a variety of instruments for your event, Tom is your man.

After reading the ratings and feedbacks of various DJs we contacted Tom for more information and a bid. Within an hour or two Tom had replied with a bid, and immediately began to answer questions we had about music, whats included in his bid, etc. Between his talents as a DJ and musician, his professionalism, and the feedback on the GigMasters website we decided to go with Tom as our wedding DJ. We were not disappointed, neither were our guests. Tom did a great job of playing the songs we wanted to hear, along with reading the crowd and keeping people on the dance floor. Everyone loved Tom and wanted to know where we found such a gem of a DJ.

Tom Bruhl was an outstanding DJ/musician for my daughter's wedding. From the outset, Tom was such a pleasure and so easy to work with. He was very prompt with emails, very professional yet genuinely warm and friendly. My daughter found him to be so accomodating with a special project that she needed his help with prior to the wedding. He played sax and guitar during cocktail hour, offering versatility that you would find difficult to replicate in another DJ/musician. He was receptive to requests, solicited playlist favorites before the wedding and played a great selection of music to please all tastes. We loved having Tom Bruhl as our DJ - he was wonderful DJ.

Our decision to contract with Tom was based on his website and dialogue over email. We felt comfortable with his manner and attention to our questions. Performing to a reception of guests that consisted of many professional musicians and artists amongst other music lovers, Tom gave us the gift of live music (which is preferred) and familiar arrangements for our guests to dance the night away! As a special request, he also played emcee (most elegantly) for our Tea Ceremony and assisted the Chinese Dance Troupe & musician with their audio needs. Our guests took the time to tell us what a wonderful DJ & live music blend he provided.

Tom was perfect in every way. He is like having a live band and a DJ in one. Our guests were very impressed by his talent and at one point when I looked up, I was shocked to see he was performing live because it was so much like the original. The crowd danced all night long and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. He is friendly, professional and immensely talented. Definitely more than just a DJ. We keep hearing from our guests how awesome he is which is all you could ever want when hosting a party of any kind!

Tom Bruhl is by far the BEST! So professional and just a talented musician! Everyone asked me at my Wedding where I found him and they're astounded at the price he charges. Dont waste your money on just a person to spin Tunes. Tom Plays LIVE and socializes when roaming the Room with his Saxaphone. I totally recommend having him play the Wedding March with his classical flute, that was so beautiful as I watched My beautiful Bride walking up the aisle to me! Thanks so Much Tom!

Tom is just fantastic. We watched him "in action" at another event and knew immediately from his versatility and great personality that we wanted him for our wedding. He was a joy to work with and very accomodating to our special requests for our ceremony and reception. In fact, a family emergency caused us to postpone our wedding at the absolute last minute and Tom was so considerate, so accomodating, helping us try to work out several different options. And his concern for our family was genuine, thoughtful and very much appreciated. We will use Tom again and recommend him highly to all our friends and family!

Coming from different cultures, we were concerned about the ambiance appealing to all our guests, including those born and raised here. Tom really took the time to learn about us and our needs, reviewing every aspect of our event. We selected some pieces but asked Tom to apply his experience and expertise to arrange the evening's repertoire. We and our guests thoroughly enjoyed our cultural favorites interwoven with American selections. In addition, Tom delighted us all with an amazing live performance on a range of instruments. Tom Bruhl was fabulous. When you hire Tom you get so much more than a DJ. Tom was hired on the Tuesday evening before our Saturday night event. The DJ company that had been hired turned out to be big corporate, with no clue about us or what we wanted for our wedding, even missing a phone appointment set at for their convenience. Tom Bruhl was so different. He cared.
Tom spent time with us Tuesday evening and went over every detail. He was meticulous asking all the right questions and writing down all the answers. He patiently went over song requests and made great suggestions too. The evening was fun and Tom made us very confident our wedding would be a success.
When Tom showed up we realized we had so much more than a DJ. Tom kept everything on schedule, was low key and appropriate as well as attentive and professional in every way. The best part was Tom is a great performer too. He played the saxophone, flute, and guitar along to his own music. Tom sang along to his music too. He put on a great show during dinner, playing and singing songs including many genres.
Our guests loved Tom. How could they not? They wanted to know how we found him. At the end of the evening many guests got his business card for their future events. While we may not be having another wedding, we will absolutely use Tom for our future events.

Tom was excellent. Not only was he able and willing to do everything we requested, including learning an acoustic song for the ceremony, but he was extremely open and enthusiastic about our input. During the reception he knew exactly which of our requests to perform and when to play them based on the mood. Just a unique class act and in no way "hacky". He is extremely talented and professional but more importantly just a really nice guy. And the best part is the value! You get the best qualities of a live band, dj, and classical musician all in one for a great price.

Tom was great!!! Ihad a hard time fidnding someone thatmy now husbad and I agreed on because he is a musician and a dj ad wanted to do the event himself. I loved the combination of the live peformance and djing that Tom provides. When my husband and I looked at Tom for our wedding we were conerned that combination of live and dj would be corny but Tom does it in a way that you would nnever know the trasition. There were times when I had to look up to see if that was him singing. All my guests loved Tom and would not stop talking how we did a great job piking him out for our event. I highly reomend Tom for your event.

Tom was an excellent DJ and perfomer. Tom played the flute during our ceremony and then transitioned to our reception smoothly. Once the dance floor opened up, he kept the crowd moving all night. Everyone loved him and was amazed by his singing, especially when he performed James Brown's "I Feel Good". What a performance! I would not hesitate to recommend Tom Bruhl to anyone!
