DJ's overall performance and professionalism far exceeded my expectations. Before the event he stayed in constant contact with me. During the event he kept the guests entertained with a variety of excellent music and karaoke selections. Everyone commented on what a wonderful time they had and how DJ King James' (Marcus) infectious spirit of entertaining made guests get involved .Marcus is truly and expert in his craft and I highly encourage anyone that is hesitant about booking him for an event to do so quickly. We used DJ King James for our Grand Opening, and not only did he exceed our expectations, he was very professional and courteous to work with. I called several local DJ's before I found him, and most of them were very hard to communicate with. From my first phone call with King James, not only was he pleasant to talk to, he was very willing to work with the budget I was given. He was very responsive to every email and call. Rebecca and I had a wonderful experience with DJ King James at our wedding! He was on time and he worked very hard to set up all the equipment. DJ King James played tunes for us at a party that included guests from 2 months old to 90 and managed to please everyone. We had requested some older music that I feared might be hard to find, but when indeed I heard it playing in the mix, it brought back great memories to a couple celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. In addition to supplying just the right music, when called on to make announcements and introductions, he did a fantastic job with that as well. I would highly recommend him for any function; he got the job done in A+ fashion.

DJ King James brought his A-Game to our wedding. On the day that I booked him, he called me and made sure that all of my questions were answered. Afterward, I really had no desire to talk to any other DJs simply because I didn't think anyone could compare with his professionalism. He kept close communication with me until the day of our wedding.
On our wedding day, he brought the party and had everyone dancing and enjoying themselves. He fit in seamlessly with our other vendors. He announced each event at our wedding perfectly. This was our third time hiring Dj King James for school dances and as always he did a great job. Only minor complaint that I heard from students is that he repeated a few songs, but that could be due to student requests. Overall I would recommend him and will probably use him again in the future.

When our originally scheduled DJ had to cancel due to a medical situation, DJ King James stepped up to help. He was great to work with and even called our original DJ( who had worked our events for years) to get advice and recommendations. During the event, King James played music that people really loved and had them dancing all night. He took care to play requests and not just his pre-selected song list. We will book him again!

What a great experience from start to finish. He followed through on calls and needs ahead of the event. He checked in prior to the event. He was there in plenty of time for set-up.
