At first I thought the speakers were too small but as the Cafeteria filled and got noisy and the music volume had to be turned up they seemed quite adequate for that size hall. I would recommend this DJ for anyone who wants to have tasteful music and not have to worry about something objectionable being played. He even had a Mic which we ended up needing but we had not planned for in advance so it was nice he was more prepared than we were!

OUTSTANDING!!! I can't praise this DJ enough. I was very skeptical hiring a DJ over the internet site unseen. But, Jason was very responsive to every communication and put my mind at ease. He and his sister played the right mix of music (right volume, too) and made my daughter's sixteenth party a night to remember! Jason was very intuned to the theme of the party and supplied a fun night of entertainment and music. Over 100 guests were amazed with the party, the music and the dancing. Jason had everyone on their feet the entire night. I was happy that I didn't have to be worry about playing inappropriate music either. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat! Thanks!

He was wonderful. I asked for balloon animals at my wedding and he made me a balloon tiara and gave my groom a balloon crown! It was so special and fun. I highly recommend A True Family Affair for a fun wedding reception.

The DJ's at A True Family Affair were Fantastic. The DJ took the time to get to know me and my fiance. I felt like I was the only client through the whole process. As I've never gotten married before I didn't know what to expect. From the first phone call to the last song played at our wedding, we knew we had the right DJ for us. I had to make some last minute changes, and Jason assured us it wouldn't be a problem. Our DJ was nothing but professional and was able to "read" the crowd. Someone asked me if I would recommend A True Family Affair, and after the fantastic job they did at our wedding, I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a DJ.

Jason went above and beyond. He truly made our wedding the most memorable wedding ever. He has a great personality, and did an excellent job with the introductions. We really enjoyed "A True Family Affair" and will certainly high this DJ again. We had a neighborhood Christmas Pary with lots of young children. The DJ was very good about keeping them occupied. His rates are very reasonable and we look forward to using him again.

Jason might be the only person I know that can get 6 to 10 year old boys to dance with girls the same age. I liked his ideas when we spoke on the phone, but was really pleased at seeing him getting the kids involved. Four hours went by too quickly. The party was a combination Halloween/Birthday Party for my daughter. One of the attendees was also celebrating her birthday and Jason on the fly, helped us aknowledge her day also. I got 3 calls from parents after the party thanking us for inviting their children. Thanks Jason for a great time!

We were extremely pleased with Jason from ATFA. He is a true professional, and our party went very well. We had thought it would be a more dancing crowd, but Jason adjusted and played a variety of music to compliment a talking crowd. It was a very pleasant experience for all. Jason was very accomidating and so patient with all of our guests especially the little ones. It was a smaller crowd but he did a great job involving and engaging all. He met all my specifics to a tee and went above and beyond what my excpectations were during the event. Everyone one loved when Jason taught the line dancing and it was as much fun to watch as it was to do. He made our event unique and special and I don't think my family will stop talking about for quite some time.

-Keeps in good contact up until the very last minute -good light show -sent a song list, didn't play many of the songs, sent song list 3 weeks before the party -didn't have two of my fav songs even though they were on my song list (milkshake -envy, lollipop -framing hanley) -fun blow up novelty toys -kept people dancing, which is what matters. Only my friend and I knew the difference

Kerryanne requested 56 songs in advance. Although my event form says no guarantee every song will be played, she supplied a rather legnthy song list. I played her songs, and songs her guests were requesting. Several songs on the list people weren't dancing to, so she had me cut them off in mid song and play a different song. It was a good crowd, and people had fun.
