The Smoking Jackets were incredible at my mom's Celebration of Life! Such a great band, Josh is so talented. His voice is great. We got the full band - Anthony, Warren, and everyone - and felt so lucky. They were a lot of fun and we'd totally hire them again. Josh took care of all of our needs, making sure we had a playlist of songs that my mom loved ready to go during their break and before they started playing. THANK YOU Smoking Jackets!

Hiring The Smoking Jackets was by far the best decision we made for our wedding reception! Josh was easy to work with and responded quickly to emails. We emailed Josh and inquired about 3 songs: first dance, father/daughter, and mother/groom song. Their band not only learned all 3 songs, but blew us away with their performance! We couldn't have been more pleased with their sound quality and their performance! They are very talented. Through out the night, the dance floor was always packed! Wedding guests are still asking me where I found such a great band! To top it off, Josh was an impressive MC, who really learned his audience. Would love to hire them again!!!

The Smoking Jackets just played at our wedding and it was probably the best decision I made for the entire wedding! They seriously were fantastic! Josh is super easy to work with and made everything so easy. Our wedding was a little vague on timelines and involved moving locations, and they weren't phased and made it happen seamlessly! They were extremely professional for the reception and made the night move along perfectly! We had an after party that was way more relaxed and they made the atmosphere exactly what I wanted. This band is worth every single penny for your events and trust me everyone will thank you for it because they are THAT good!

OH MY GOD. Let me just start with how AMAZING the smoking jackets are. I couldn’t have had a better experience with a live band that’s highly energetic and a crowd pleaser. Josh was so easy to work with and made sure we were happy throughout the night and kept the show going. They played wonderful upbeat songs that go with the vibe of the crowd. We love the Smoking Jackets!!! Josh and the rest of the band did an amazing job at our wedding this past month! The quality of their sound and their level of professionalism is unmatched. The smoking jackets was the BEST decision that we made, hands down! Everyone just loved the band and they had everyone out on the dance floor. I have been writing down the name of the band for people for a week now! Everyone wants to go see them! Our venue was a bed and breakfast in a residential neighborhood so our only concern was noise level. They were in total control and never were even close to being a concern. The biggest compliment was the owner of the bed and breakfast wants to now recommend them for all of their weddings.The band learned a couple songs for us and absolutely killed it. Could not be more pleased with the smoking jackets, thank you again!

I cant speak highly enough about this band! The lead singer Josh was so professional and efficient, he made me feel like he knew exactly what he was doing and he did. Nicest guy! We asked them to stay an extra half hour because everyone was having such a great time. They even did a request they didn't know but figured out a way to make it happen! The overall performance and experience was amazing!! We loved these guys and would definitely recommend them for anyones party. They were such a blast and really contributed to the vibe and atmosphere to make our engagement party an incredible memory! Thank you Smoking Jackets!!!

What an AWESOME ceremony and reception! You guys were awesome! Everyone LOVED the band so much that by the end of the reception…. they were chanting "ONE MORE SONG!" We actually extended their playing time another 30 minutes because we couldn't get enough! They had everyone on the dance floor! The acoustic music at the ceremony was beautiful, the guys were professional and pleasant, and the music was GREAT! Hiring the right band was really important to me for our wedding day because I wanted everyone to have FUN! This band provided that and more! Highly recommended. Josh and the band were absolutely incredible. I had people approach me throughout my wedding and tell me they have never heard a better wedding band. The Smoking Jackets turned our wedding reception into the best and most memorable night we have ever had! They are an extremely talented and diverse band that had all our guests up on their feet dancing and singing. They even learned how to play our special first dance song one week before the reception! We had some difficulties with noise ordinances and they very professionally handled the venue manager and worked to get a solution that everyone was happy with. This is the 2nd time I've hired the Smoking Jackets; 3 years ago they played at my 60's themed birthday party. Their repertoire, energy and talent made the party very special. When I decided to throw an "Pre-independence Day" party (on July 3rd) I immediately thought of the Smoking Jackets.
Besides being great musicians, they are genuinely nice guys. During booking they are very accommodating. Their playlist reflected the theme of the party. They had everybody up and dancing throughout and they played longer than required. During breaks and after the gig they socialized with the other guests.
I recommend them highly. They are guaranteed to please.

I gave them 5 out of 5 for every single category and this is 2 weeks after the wedding when all the honeymoon feelings have worn off. They were absolutely incredible in every single way and accommodating us on every level. They are easy to work with and killed it all night! Everyone that walked away from our wedding gave us the same compliment... "How the heck did you get that band??? They were incredible!" Whoever you are thinking of getting for a band... stop and give the smoking jackets a call and you won't regret it!

Josh and the Smoking Jackets were awesome - there's not really any other word for it.
Josh was willing to meet us ahead of time to make sure he was on the same page with us, provided all the info we needed, and even tweaked the band ensemble to make sure it was in our budget - and it might have been the best decision we made to contact them to play our wedding.
Nearly all of the guests commented immediately on how phenomenal the Smoking Jackets were - We will definitely be catching one of their shows sometime so we can hear them again.
In short: Hire these guys yesterday. Thank you guys, especially Josh, for helping make our day memorable!

From the start Josh was in touch with me for any questions or concerns I had. He was very professional, and was prompt in getting back to me. We really enjoyed the band, and so did all our guests. They arranged a great selection of music and really got the party going and got everyone dancing. They are really fun, enjoyable and a great bunch of guys. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again when we have another event that requires a band.
