Steve is a great person and very reliable. He was a surprise for my husband's 60th birthday and he was very funny and friendly with the audience. Our friends and family were laughing and enjoying his humor. Thanks Steve for coming and being a part of our evening.

I found Steve to be very accommodating and funny. His style of humor didn't have folks rolling in the aisles, but he wove his humor through his stories and kept folks engaged in his performance. We had a tough setting and Steve was flexible to make our time with him fun. Thanks for a great evening...

I appreciate Deb's strong feedback. The scores are solid, but I would change the 4.5's to 5.5's. To inform you, I followed a warm-up (game show) that went way too long and drained energy from the audience. Plus the setting was not right for standup. This was an outdoor show at a twi-light picnic with no light on me... I improvised... I ignored the 'way too far away stage' and got close to the audience, then worked the crowd and squeezed every drop of laughs out of the situation and then some. I'm glad Deb found me funny and had a great evening. I got lots of compliments and she told me it was a successful.

Steve was understanding and flexible with our group/event setting - it was at the San Diego Zoo. It was tough to get the group engaged but Steve pulled through and for those who were part of his audience, we enjoyed his show.

Steve was very good at breaking the monotony of your classic corporate dinner. Had the hard judges of our company laughing and participating in the event, and that says a lot!!! I would recommend his services; given the parameters Steve had to perform within he did a great job...it's hard to make people laugh when you cannot discuss religion, sex, and politics, and yet he managed to make it a fun evening for all of us. Thank you.

Toni & Mike, her husband-very sweet! Mike kept telling me he had a great time. The lighting was poor and that's bad for comedy, but Mike sat close - that helped his enjoyment and my connection to him... and those upfront. The further away, the less people see and the less they respond. I wanted to wait & Toni said to start while people were eating. It's tough getting people laughing while they're eating. It feels like you're a stranger intruding on their meal. I deferred to the client's wishes. There you have it. I've got 20+ other great reviews for perspective. Listen to the comedian, we want to do well. We want you happy.

For any other event I believe Steve would have been a great choice. However, for our church event we felt some of his act wasn't appropriate. We requested that he not include some material in order to be sensitive to the various backgrounds our audience members were coming from, and he surprised us anyway and offended several guests. I would not recommend him for a Christian venue, but feel he is very talented and would be a hit at many others.

Well folks, you never know. I absolutely killed this crowd for an hour. I had dinner with the pastor and double-checked with him before and after on my material and his satisfaction and got his glowing approval afterwards. Not to mention alllll the church members who complimented me ie. Amy Kraft who wrote these comments??? This feedback came months after the event... how soon they forget. I had a lovely time and fond memories. Why would I ask for their feedback if I had any idea this feedback coming? I wish them well. I did not include anything they asked me not to and I was sensitive to all. I'm a clean comedian and have worked many religious venues

Steve Mittleman made my husband’s surprise zoom birthday party a great success! He helped co-host the party and performed some hilarious stand-up. He engaged with the attendees and kept the whole party laughing. There was never a dull moment. His stand-up even incorporated personalized jokes just for my husband. Steve was extremely professional and made sure that we incorporated my vision for the party. This meant having multiple meetings leading up to the party, including last minute changes. I highly recommend Steve for any special event.

Steve was humorous and entertained the group throughout the evening. The live auction raised more money than planned due to Steve working the room. He spent time with us ahead of time positioning the evening for success, and that time was very much appreciated.

Steve is a great guy. He is very professional and is quite astute at reading his audience. He was a huge asset to our fundraiser and kept the momentum of the evening moving along smoothly. Steve is a phenomenal entertainer and auctioneer. He bonded with the crowd with a little bit of well-timed comedy before beginning the auction. Our school raised a record number of dollars and Steve had a big hand in generating the enthusiasm and support from the crowd. He kept the energy up along with the bidding paddles. So happy was the crowd with his performance, that he got them to pay for his fee for the evening, which added to our overall profit for the evening! As the organizer, I can wholeheartedly recommend Steve Mittleman as a great asset to your event

I booked Steve for our Valentines Day fundraiser and I have to say he was awesome! He was very professional at the event and the audience loved him as he had the busting out in laughter, even though we are a smaller town, he treated up like we were a big town venue! During the process he was very easy to get a hold of and tailored his act to my audience perfectly. I would definitely hire him for another event again as he was extremely funny and even peppered in some jokes about our town! What a fantastic experience! Thanks Steve!
