Hired only the pianist. Music was provided to the pianist at least six weeks ahead of time. An email asking whether there were any questions about the music was sent the week of the event. During the rehearsal right before the event I noticed a fair number of wrong and/or missing notes from the piano. Apparently the music had been published for organ and was difficult for the pianist to read the base line. Had the pianist looked at the music ahead of time, issue could have been corrected. Ultimately the performance was okay, not great. Would recommend going with a pianist that will practice ahead of time rather than just winging it.

They sounded great but they took a number of long pauses in between songs during the prelude and I was hoping they would play continuously. I also asked them to play songs more folksy in nature (similar to The Ludlows and Annie's song) and they played "All My Life" by KC and Jojo - basically the opposite of what I requested. In addition, they did not start our recessional music until we were already back down the aisle and basically exiting the premises. We took a long pause after our kiss and basked in the joy of the moment to give them a chance to start playing but they didn't. They sounded wonderful but I was expecting more from their performance.

I am a little confused by this feedback. We played all the songs the bride requested: I had personally made arrangements of them for our trio. Maybe she wasn't listening when they were played. Also, we were not provided with adequate shade (or any water whatsoever) in 90 degree heat. So, we were obliged to constantly shift around to avoid sun damage to our instruments. Our violinist had to stand for most of the 2 hours to stay out of the sun, since the umbrella provided didn't cover us all. I feel this review does not reflect the reality of our particpation in this event. I might add that at least four of the guests came up to us to compliment our music.
