I paid $300 for one full hour. After 30 minutes I noticed several long breaks in music. I do not feel I received a full hour's worth of music. Seemed when no one was looking the harpist didn't bother playing.

:

This review is absurd. Our harpist played continuously for the full hour, working through the client's requested song list, and receiving many smiles and compliments from the guests. Amplification was used as planned, and the harpist set up in the location agreed upon by the venue, the bride, and Sweet Harmony.

Sweet Harmony was incredibly responsive. They answered all of our questions, sent us music clips they found, gave us suggestions, reached out to us via email as the date approached to confirm things, looked great, and sounded great.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with Sweet Harmony. We had an amazing violinist play for our wedding ceremony. She arrived early and was completely unobtrusive. She played beautifully. Tara @ Sweet Harmony was my contact and answered any question and/or concern I presented to her. Book them quickly, they are wonderful to work with!!

From start to finish, Tara was so accommodating and helpful with choosing my ceremony music. She was always prompt with her replies and provided me with many resources to choose the music. As for the music itself, she played the piano so beautifully! It was truly a wonderful experience and I would recommend Sweet Harmony and Tara to anyone :)

As the bride, I didn't hear them play while guests were arriving because I was upstairs. When the ceremony started they played beautifully. The cues were a little messed up... When mothers went to light the Unity candle they didn't start playing until the mothers were done lighting the candle. When the ceremony was over they didn't start playing the music for us to walk down the aisle right away. I don't know if they could see or hear or not......?

Baby ShowerReviewed on March 11, 2013From Plainfield, NJ

prior to my event i had emailed with one of the two about every detail. they both showed up right around 3pm which is when my party started (even though she told me that they would arrive 20-30 minutes prior). before i could blink a few times, they were already on a break (which we agreed upon but i'm thinking since they started later maybe they could have waited to break until later). also, i specifically wrote in my emails that i wanted jazz music and what they played was classical. they were ok nice, but i'll never hire them again. lastly, they were very expensive for what i got.

:

This is an instance in which the client is mistaken about, well, everything. 1) We arrived between 2:40-2:45pm. 2) We began to play at 3:01pm. I checked my phone to make sure. We were contracted to start at 3:00. 3) As is written in our contract, we took one break of about 10 minutes during the two hours of playing. We took this break between 3:55-4:08pm. 4) We played exclusively jazz standards with plenty of swing and improvising, and at a very high level of performance. Here are some of the songs we played: Blue Bossa, I Left My Heart in San Francisco, How Deep Is the Ocean, Love Is Here To Stay, Night and Day, and many more like it.

Sweet Harmony were great to work with! They were one of the first vendors we booked and throughout our 2 years of wedding planning, we made quite a few changes from our original plan- from what type of instruments would be played (switched from piano to strings) to moving the date back almost 9 months. Despite how difficult we were, Tara handled each change with grace and professionalism. The performers at our event were great and the music was absolutely beautiful. We couldn't have asked for anything more! We will definitely consider Sweet Harmony for the future.

We had a rustic country wedding. We had to change the time of our wedding & Sweet Harmony was very flexible & patient with us throughout the process. On the day of the wedding they performed the pieces of music with expert ease. They even went as far as to learn a new piece of music 2 wks before because I wanted it to be in the ceremony.I would rehire Sweet Harmony in a heart beat. They made our event so much more special by being there & the sound of live music made the night that much more magical. All of my guests commented on their lovely music and professional appearance. I would recommend Sweet Harmony to anyone looking for their wedding to be unique & exceptional.

I was so nervous about the music at my wedding ceremony because the trumpeter that I hired did not know the singers, but I was amazed at how well he performed and how easy is was to work with gig masters. The muaic made my ceremony and people. Oils not stop talking aboutwhat a nice touch the trumpeter added to the ceremony. Hiring through gig masters was probably one of the easiest parts of the wedding planning and they were always so responsive and helpful. I am so happy with my decision to work with them!!!!

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on June 24, 2012From Lakewood, NJ

The entire experience was great. From the beginning we were given a list of songs to consider and tips on choosing songs. That was extremely helpful. When we finally did submit our choices they got back to us immediately with great suggestions and even said yes to a song they did not know previously. The ceremony also went off flawlessly. No complaints at all. Thanks Sweet Harmony!!

Very professional and easy to contact. They were prompt in responding to all our questions and requests, despite the fact that we were arranging services from Texas. They were flexible on the day of our ceremony and integrated our special requests. I'd highly recommend Sweet Harmony.

Everything went great. The performer showed up on time, looked great and played beautifully. Highly recommended, and a friend of mine hopes to use the service this summer for their own event. I wish I had booked him for more than the hour---it went so fast!

We hired the violinist only. He arrived on time and performed for the hour with a short break at about half time. We were satisfied with his performance and would recommend Sweet Harmony.
