International String Trio are beyond outstanding. They are first and foremost INCREDIBLE musicians of the highest caliber and training. Their professionalism and ease of working together to organize and request custom songs was clear, efficient, and smooth. The crowd loved their mix of music genres, with hundreds of options that allowed us to really make our night exactly what we wanted it for ceremony and cocktail hour. The guests loved the live music touch and supportive but not overpowering music.
Thank you so much to Slava and the trio - we hope others have the privilege of experiencing your magic.

Two musicians performed during the entirety of our event. Honestly, I expected just some pleasant background music, which was totally accomplished. However, their expertise by voice and instrument was captivating and our guests were so impressed. Our event became an absolute joyful celebration where spontaneous singing and dancing broke out. I'm so grateful for their talent and that we were able to have International Strings as part of our event. THEY WERE AWESOME!

Marc, Mike, and Slava were masterful . Song selection and sensitivity to the nature of our program were outstanding. They are excellent musicians. One of our party is in her 90s. She has a memory catalog of songs from her youth. International Strings played her requests. My guests asked me to have another event ASAP to hear the artists again. It made the afternoon magical and perfect. Thank you so much!

The space they performed in was intimate and they did a beautiful job engaging, entertaining and educating the audience in the best possible way. I really enjoyed the variation in music genres. I would highly recommend this group. They were excellent and really made our evening special. Their manager was very responsive and communication was excellent. They arrived ahead of time set up and begin exactly on time and played for the full time allotted. everyone loved them.

The International Strings Trio were incredible. They played (during a heatwave) for our community 150th Anniversary and even without AC, the venue was packed and the smiles never left their faces. They are skilled musicians and master performers with charisma. We can't wait to have them back again next summer.

Slava and his colleagues in International Strings were fantastic. They played a couple of special classical requests for the ceremony, then delighted everyone with their jazz playing during the cocktail hour. They also, by the way, showed up in plenty of time and with a wonderfully friendly attitude. I heartily recommend them!

International Strings of Boston, MA, managed by Slava Tolstoy are consummate professionals. I challenged them with a number of songs across several genres to appeal to the various ages of our wedding guests. Without hesitation, they took on the challenge and delivered a memorable event for all. We also requested they move from an outdoor ceremony to another location for the reception. They arrived and setup promptly to both locations. They were flexible when last minute changes occurred. Many guests and venue staff complimented on the choice of music. I highly recommend this group for any function requiring professional musicians who will make any event a pleasure.

We had a corporate event. I started engaging Slava a week before thanksgiving. He was very responsive and provided clear information in a timely manner. In the end, the company with over 400 guests who came to the office for the event had a blast and was raving about the International Strings.

We were looking for musicians to play at our wedding, but wanted music from different cultures/ styles and they offered exactly what we were hoping for. We love to travel and were having a Celtic wedding so wanted to incorporate music from places we’ve been, and Celtic music and they did exactly that. They sent an extensive list of songs they play and I let them know which ones suited us, as well as request a song that they learned just for when I walked down the aisle. It was one of the best parts of our wedding and our quests absolutely loved them! Slava was a true professional and wonderful musician and I would recommend them for any occasion!

Highly recommend International Strings. Slava is very professional, prompt to return calls and made song recommendations for my son and daughter in law's wedding ceremony at The Old South Meeting House in Boston. Beautiful music was played prior to the ceremony. The guests are still raving about how wonderful the musicians were prior, during and after the ceremony. I hope to have another occasion real soon to use the International Strings musicians. Book them, you will love them. They are truly the best musicians you will find.
