Gaku was a total professional. He responded quickly to emails and answered all my questions. He even learned a few songs for our ceremony. Many of my guests commented on how great he sounded and his high level of talent. We couldn't be happier with his performance...it made our ceremony and cocktail hour even more special.

My experience with Gaku was great from the very beginning he explained himself clearly . I never felt like I was missing any information , he made the process very smooth . As far as his performance he was great all the guests enjoyed his music . I will definitely hire him again . Out of all my contacts with vendors he was the easiest one to work with.

My wife and I have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Gaku Murata
He was very accommodating and we were able to book him on short notice.
Gaku was very prompt with email correspondence leading up to our wedding. On the day of our wedding, Gaku set up his equipment quickly and promptly and was a very excellent performer. Our guests commented that he was very good.
Overall we were very happy with how well he played guitar at the wedding.
After the ceremony he congratulated us and went on his way.
We would recommend Gaku to any of our friends for music at an event.

I was a bit nervous about hiring musicians based only on a couple of clips from a website, but I needn't have been. They were great, and they helped make the event absolutely perfect.
In fact, one of my favorite private moments of the day occurred after most of the guests had left and I was running around doing wrap up. I realized they were playing Alicia Keys' "No One". First off, it sounded amazing with just cello and guitar, but more importantly it was the exact right thing for me to hear at that moment.

Gaku was awesome to work with. He played solo acoustic guitar for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, and he sounded great. We had numerous guests come up and tell us how much they enjoyed his playing. He was also very professional and prompt. He was detail-oriented throughout the planning process and quick to communicate, and very helpful at suggesting music. He also accommodated a special request from us to add the "Jaws" theme to the end of "Here Comes the Bride" and did so with perfect comic timing. I would definitely recommend Gaku and would hire him again if I have another event!

We were so glad to have found Gaku on GigMasters. He was the perfect fit for our cocktail hour. I am quite detailed and was hesitant to hire him without a live viewing but given the quality of his audio clips, we decided to book. I called him in advance and he was very accomodative to our requests. He arrived on time, appropriately dressed, and was a super courteous and gracious vendor. He had a great range of songs and you could really feel the talent in his guitar playing. He did so without dominating the room, keeping it a very elegant atmosphere. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Thanks Gaku!

Gaku was excellent. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. His performance during our wedding ceremony was so skillful and appropriate that some guests near the back of the room weren't even aware that it was a live musician. There were so many things during our wedding planning that we were concern with BUT NOT with Gaku. Once we booked him, we had no doubt that he was the best choice for us. Gaku was a tremendous hit at out party! Gaku is the man. He was a huge part of the success of our Bastille Day Party here at Gaslight Brasserie. The diversity of music that Gaku performed was astounding... Hendrix to Lady Gaga. We will definitely be talking to him again for more parties in the future.

Gaku was terrific to work with. I could not have been happier with his performance. He learned the song "Heavenly Day" by Patty Griffin and provided the perfect accompaniment while my sister-in-law sang at our ceremony. He played acoustic guitar during a small backyard reception and then played for a much larger group during our traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Our guests couldn't stop commenting on how beautifully Gaku plays. He was flexible, incredibly nice, and very professional. I highly recommend him!

Gaku Murata was very accomodating, flexible, prompt, professional, and talented. In a nutshell, he did a great job. Our gig was about the shortest one could get, yet he treated it with as much attention and professionalism as I would expect at a major event. To us, it WAS a major event, and that's how he approached it as well. We would recommend him in a heartbeat. Thanks for a job well done!

The Gaku Murata Trio was hired for our wedding reception. It was probably the most talked about afterwards. They were very accommodating. For example Mr. Murata offered to match pace of our first dance song with the one we practiced. Second example we needed the band to start on a specific time when guests came down the stairs. Third example we needed the band to move from one room to another. Overall I was completely satisfied and would recommend anyone to hire them too.
