Just wanted to give a shout out to Dave for doing such a wonderful job at our Holiday Open House. We heard nothing but praise from our clients who attended and everyone complimented us on having such beautiful background music. He was extremely professional and played current songs, and he seemed very personable when interacting with our guests. We would highly recommend using your company again, as well as request Dave for our next event. His music was enjoyed by all.

Dave was outstanding. He was very flexible with our outdoor wedding. The weather was impacting what we wanted to do but Dave worked with us and was flexible. He played a great variety off songs and played at a perfect volume. Several of our friends commented on how good he was. I would absolutely recommend him to a friend and would use him for any future events we have.

Prior to the event, Dave was very responsive and accommodating with communication. He was hired to work for 1 hour, playing 30 minutes prior to the ceremony along with the bridal party and bride entrance. We had the recessional covered by the DJ. While playing, he did fine, but the only major issue I had with Dave is that he packed up and left in the middle of the ceremony instead of waiting 10 minutes for the ceremony to conclude. He had 20 minutes left on the hour he was booked for and we even gave him a tip. It was a relatively small, indoor ceremony, so this was distracting to the guests. Prior to the early departure, I would have given a positive review.

Hi Chris, I am so sorry that I left after I was finished playing. I had received a text message from my wife before I started the prelude music that my daughter had given birth prematurely and she was not doing well. She was at Jefferson Hospital very close by and I felt compelled to leave since I had finished the ceremony music. I didn't want to bother you with my problems. Since I was done I just had to go. I would be happy to refund my fee. Please accept my sincere apology, Dave

I'm sure Dave is a talented musician, as his sample CD suggests. We hired him to play acoustic at an event. We were specific from the very start that amplification was not permitted by the venue, and Dave stated that he had no problem playing acoustic with no amplification. He was aware of the venue location and could have easily checked out the space before agreeing to the gig or completing the contracted work to see if it could be completed as requested. He brought an amp anyway, was visibly aggravated that he couldn't use it, and played so quietly that absolutely no one could hear him. It turned out to be a waste of money for our event.

Tonya is a very nice person. Unfortunately, she did not mention that an amplifier could not be used in her quote to me. I didn't find out until five days before the event (by email). I called her and left a message regarding the situation. Her husband called me back and I explained to him that with 125 people at the event that I would not be heard. I offered to refund their deposit but they were insistent on moving forward. It was a most embarrassing situation for me. I did the best I could.

Dave played guitar for our corporate holiday brunch. He was extremely talented, professional, and accommodating. He arrived a half hour early and was set up in time to welcome our guests. He played a variety of songs, from Christmas tunes to classics. Would definitely recommend!!!

Dave was extremely professional and easy to work with. He clearly has an excellent command of guitar and was able to play our chosen tunes (he actually didn't even need to ask us our song choices before-hand, knowing he could play pretty much anything we requested). He arrived on time and in professional clothing (which he asked me about beforehand). He was well liked by the guests and easy to manage money with. The best part was his familiarity with the wedding "gig"; I had two calls with him total, each lasting less than 10 mins, but I always had the impression he would be more than prepared for the event- and he was! Thanks Dave.

While I LOVED Dave's music - his talent and professionalism are beyond reproach - $500.00 for three hours was steep. More importantly: Our party did not end until 9:00p - Dave was very clear that he was leaving at 8:00p and actually asked if I wished him to stay until 8:00p!!

Hi Michelle, Thank you for taking the time to respond to Gig Masters feedback request. I am very sorry for any misunderstanding. Your initial bid was for 2 ½ hours from 5:30 to 8:00pm. I agreed to play from 5:00 to 8:00pm. I was a bit confused when you asked me to play “Closing Time at 9:20pm and emailed you for clarification. We spoke and you said to ignore that time frame. If you wanted me to play to 9:00 all you had to do was ask me and I would have gladly played till, then. Thank you for gracious hospitality on the night of the event and I really enjoyed the interaction I had with all of the people. Happy Holidays, Dave

My apologies for a grave misunderstanding! I asked the groomsmen if the bridesmaids were about finished as I could not see them where I was set up. He politely said no and I continued on with their tune. When Maria started her walk, I re-positioned myself for a better view. When she was about half way the officiant’s translator came over to my amp and started to turn my knobs on my amp for volume for the mike that I supplied. I politely asked her to stop and said I would take care of the volume when they needed it. She turned my volume all the way up and was ruining the brides entrance. She got rather pert with me and I just ignored it.
