Ms. Lily and Mr. Simon exceeded all expectations regarding their performance, versatility, and overall talent. They catered their song list specifically to our needs. I was especially impressed by how they were not only able to learn a specially requested song on extremely short notice, but played it in such a way that brought tears to my eyes. Their demeanors were not only professional but warm and friendly. Every person present at the event commended their display. With no hesitation would I recommend this duo for anyone looking to add a flair of musical beauty to their event.

When planning our wedding, I knew that I wanted to have a cellist and harpist. My husband was initially a bit wary, but knew how much it would mean to me. We came across Simon and Lily of Strange Interlude on Gigmasters and we knew that we had to book them. From the very first email to the final moment we said goodbye, both Simon and Lily were professional, kind, and flexible with all of our different needs. Even when requesting a special song for our ceremony, they were more than happy and accommodating. They both added an elegant and serene element to our wedding. I would absolutely not even hesitate in booking them again. You will be so happy when you do as well!

Simon and Lily played as a surprise to my mother-in-law for her 70th birthday. When they started playing, every person in the room lit up as if it were their birthday too. It was the most beautiful experience. Lily and Simon were professional and accommodating of all our needs, and they were also kind and generous along the eat. I think everyone is going through withdrawal! It was one of those experiences that you never want to end. Most of all, Lily and Simon pit together a list of songs that included my mother-in-law’s favorite opera, along with a wide variety of songs that made us laugh and cry and feel amazing. I clearly runneth over about them.

I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful these two fabulous musicians are!!! Lily and Simon not only arranged music and adapted it fir the wedding, they also brought love and passion to the ceremony with their expert playing and artistic flair. Gorgeous music filled the room. The venue was upstairs--with no elevator--and they moved their instruments ups with no problems. They were conscious of timing, atmosphere, and the purpose of our event and added the most elegant touch--playing subtly in the background during Bible readings, and with power and depth during the bridal processional. Lily and Simon were the perfect touch--and the music was good, too! ??

Unfortunately I was not able to make it to the cocktail party that night.
From, quote - booking - date/time change (at my boss's request) - performance, theses two get an A+.
From the start Lily replied to my quote request within minutes of the request being sent.
She was very professional and answered all my questions.
The quote for the duo was quite reasonable.
After booking 3/7 as the gig date, i needed to change it to 3/8.
Lily was very accommodating and the date was amended with no issues.
Note: I had only began to contact her a week prior to the event.
The service and experience Lily and Simon provided was exceptional (my employer was present).

Fabulous !! From the moment I requested info Lily Press made herself available thru e-mail contact & calls. A theme event, Lily suggested they dress in formal attire & both appeared fabulously, Simon going beyond & performing in a Tux ! Lily graciously recv'd a play list of preferred pieces inc. classical, contemporary, & more. Their performance is complimentary, layered, & absolutely wonderful. Attendees were excited & enthralled with the delightful sounds that Lily & Simon delivered. Arrived on time, non-stop performance, professional appearance & demeanor. Apparent they truly engage themselves & deliver a wonderful presentation. Highly recommend this duet !!

We were thrilled with Lily and Simon's music for our wedding ceremony. We requested two songs which were both very special to us but weren't on their published repertoire. They offered to learn the songs and played them flawlessly. Lily & Simon were quick to respond during the planning process, a joy to work with and so talented.
