John certainly made our event fantastic! He was very professional, had a small footprint for his set up, and his drawings were great. He really captures the details about a person's looks but somehow manages to make them all flattering! Plus he has a great sense of humor with his caricature drawings, a lot of folks at our event loved them and were left laughing! He was super easy to work with, very detailed, and arrived on time and stayed late to finish, which was definitely appreciated - since there was a snowstorm the night of our event. Thank you again John, we would recommend you to anyone who wants a unique addition to their event!

John was fantastic! He was such a great addition to our wedding. We had so many compliments from our guests on John, and how much they loved having their caricatures drawn. John was such a hit at our wedding, everyone was so happy with their caricatures and thought it was the best idea ever. John never stopped, truthfully I only saw his face once when he asked if we wanted him to stay longer because there were more guests waiting. He stayed until everyone who wanted a caricature was done even though he had a long drive back home. He was so talented that I can really not thank him enough for everything he did on our wedding day.

Awesome! We wanted something extra special to celebrate our daughter's 10 th birthday and John Steven Gurney was just that, Awesome! He worked non- stop for 3.5 hours, listened to what the kids wanted and captured each person's essence in a truly amazing way! We hired Mr. Gurney to do carachatures at our company's winter party and our staff thought he was just great and the idea of caracachures was unique. It was a conversation piece throughout the night. Mr. Gurney adjusted his hours to accommodate our needs, he was flexible and pleasant and professional.

John Steven Gurney was amazing. He was prompt and professional. He was patient and accomodating to the guests including the children that were at the party. He created a custom banner commemorating the party that was pre-printed on the paper that was used for the caricatures for our party which was a really nice touch. He asked each of the guests a bit about themselves and customized each drawing to reflect something about each person. And best of all, the caricatures actually really looked like the person. I cannot say enough good things about John Steven Gurney. He was a wonderful addition to our party and well-worth every penny.
