Rob Smith Jr. was an absolute joy to have at our institution. He was very personable, he individualized each caricature based on the conversations he held with students and is a warm hearted man. Everyone that came said they were so thankful to have these final memories before leaving to end of the year. We will definitely be booking Mr. Smith Jr. for future events and would highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a top quality caricaturist.

Rob was great at communication prior to our wedding & drew an amazing color caricature of my husband & I. His obvious talent was in this drawing & many others. When booking we forgot to ask an important question though: will you draw couples? The answer is "no", upsetting a few guests - particularly the couple celebrating their 5th anniversary. Not drawing couples created another issue as well. Everyone wanted a drawing & the line was very long. Toward the end of his time (& beyond it) Rob had to rush to finish, reducing the quality. Drawing couples would've given him more time. He did stay until everyone was done, however, for which we, and our guests are grateful.

Rob Smith Jr. is incredibly talented! I hired him for our 30th Anniversary Gala, and the line never stopped. He was incredibly kind in that when his contracted time was up, he jotted down the name of the last person in line, and stayed until he got to them. THAT WAS an HOUR and a HALF later! Unbelievable, unheard of! I had initially asked him to do a 'quick, down and dirty' sketch so that more people could be handled. He understood my perspective, but promised to do as many as possible, with his detailed approach. The results were absolutely amazing! Everyone was blown away and thrilled with their keepsake. THANK YOU ROB for making our party SUCCESSFUL!

I am so excited to say that hiring Rob Smith, Jr. for our event at UNF was the best decision that we could have made. He kept in contact with me throughout the process and was more than willing to answer any questions that I had, as well as offering as much information as to his needs as possible. During the event, he was entertaining, personable, and brought his caricatures to life one at a time. College students can be hard to impress at times, but he blew them away. He asked for no breaks or showed any signs of waning energy, even though he stayed later than intended to make sure everyone in the line had their turn. Hire Rob Smith, Jr. He's the best there is!

Rob was absolutely outstanding and a huge hit with our guests. My fiance and I wanted to try something a little different/less traditional for entertaining guests so we went this route and although I was a little worried whether our guests would be interested but I was way wrong. They all loved it. Kids and adults a like. In fact, we only had a couple young children but Rob was still busy the entire reception. In fact, the guy NEVER stopped. He constantly had a line. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. He was great value for money and super easy to work with. I highly recommend booking Rob...your guests will love it!!!

Rob Smith Jr. was a true asset to our event at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Everyone loved the caricatures he drew with such accuracy and fun. With a storm quickly approaching on our event, Rob Smith Jr. was happy to stay longer after our party was shut down early due to inclement weather. The booking process was also easy and professional with a confirmation call about a week before the event to discuss details. Rob Smith Jr. was a great addition to our outdoor fun in the sun party and I would highly recommend him for any event for people of all ages!

Rob arrived on time and set up his work area quickly and effectively. He engaged each person at the party in a conversation while he continued his drawing, including details he learned from the conversation in the drawing that personalized each portrait in a unique, cheerful, and accurate depiction of each one. The drawings became the life of the party as everyone talked about his artistic gifts of drawing and engaging in conversation. Just a wonderful addition to a family celebration.
