Dexter was fantastic!!! This was a special day for my father (his 60th Birthday) and being from the islands I knew that he and my family would enjoy the steel band. Dexter was very accomodating, arriving 30 minutes early just to accomodate my needs since it was a surprise party. He was like one of the family and such a pleasant man. The soloist is undoubtedly talented! And the overall band was average! However for whats on the market now I found them to be way too expensive especially since our party ran late and I needed an extra hour of entertainment! The cost of the extra time was equivalent to hiring another band or dj! Seems to me they already added there tip- so i didn't tip them. I trust that the guys will use this criticism as constructive and work on better packages suitable for today's average economic situation!!!!!

This comment is amazing. Out of so many clients, you are the first to say the band is average. Your party started late and ran late. The band was on time. I emailed you a contract with all the details such as the cost for a 3 piece band and the cost if you go past the agreed upon time. You signed it for your client and returned it with a deposit. FYI the band did not stayed for any overtime. I don't know where you got that from. At any point we did not force you to hire South Florida #1 steel drum band. Wonderful! They came in a timely fashion, set up quietly in a perfect place, wore the proper attire, played the appropriate music very well, and kept the party going. They provided a very festive atmosphere to the cocktail hour after my daughter's beach wedding. I would certainly recommend them to anyone - we were perfectly pleased! Gigmasters was very efficient in emailing me a list of specific items to discuss with Pan Paradise a week before the event.

The only thing I have to say is that I WISH I told the DJ to wait another 15-20 minutes before rushing everybody inside for the reception dinner....I wanted to hear Dexter play for longer! They arrived early, kept my guests entertained, and would always answer my phone calls before the event. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone considering a steel drum band and I would definitely hire them again! They made my wedding complete.

They were VERY profesional!! Of all the vendors I hired for the weekend, they were the only ones that showed up on time and ready to go! They were fun and played for the guests. If the guests started a conga line, they would sing that song; if the guests started limboing, they would sing that song. They were awesome!

Arrived on time, ready to go when guests began arriving. Music, including several Disney tunes we requested, was wonderful. Did not let us know when they were taking a break so we had to scramble to get our speakers (bride and groom, host) up on stage when we realized a recording was playing and it was our turn to make announcements. I would highly recommend them for their musical talent but do not expect much in the way of guest interaction or "dj"ing".

The band was not set up by the time the event was supposed to start, supposedly a proble with electrical outlet. I expected a bit more live music but the band was accomodating to extend and the location where they played could have been better.

Thanks for your feedback. The band arrived 1:15 min prior to start time. We was supposed to park valet but on arrival we were sent to the employee parking garage. Security will not let us in until we come inside for clearance. This was a first for us, we always valet. We reached the setup location 20 min prior to start time. we setup where your hotel coordination instructed us to. We were ready to play on time but the outlet they gave us could not be used. We waited for engineering to correct the problem which caused us to start 3 min behind shcedule. I apolized for any problems but this situation was beyond our control. We took one break plus stayed overtim

Dexter and Pan Paradise were absolutely phenomenal from beginning to end. Dexter was extremely professional and easy to work with. He made everything so simple, and he was very accommodating. His set up was great, the music was the absolute best. He is very talented and gave us everything we hoped for and more. Everyone had a blast and we didn’t want it to end. Stop searching like I did and book Pan Paradise now!

We had one steel drum player and he was awesome. We felt like we were on an island somewhere on vacation. People were drawn to his Caribbean sounds and danced to his music. Can’t wait till we have another party to have him and the rest of his band play for our family and friends. Totally recommend Dexter from Pan Paradise!
