Thanks for your rating John. This was a fantastic high profile event. We've played many corporate and community festivals/functions but this one takes the cake. Playing at The National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown WV, in a hall that holds 300 people was a delight. Many of the attendees were eager to greet us and compliment us on our talents. They were a fun and pleasant bunch, and seemed to genuinely enjoy our eclectic mix. And thanks for the provision of meals and drinks. This was an unexpected kindness and bonus. We hope you'll book us for your next centenial celebration, provided we all live another 100 years!Review by Katie C.
Mother's Day Party Reviewed on July 1, 2014 From Washington, DC
:
Thank you Katie & The Smithsonian Museum of American Art. What a great event to play for over Mother's Day weekend. Our mix of old time fiddle tunes, ragtime pieces and the Woody Guthrie songs the museum requested were very well received by the audience. Thanks for accommodating us so well with great stage and sound arrangements. We look forward to a return to The Smithsonian Institution. We were honored to play there.Review by Dave G.

:
Thank you Bridget. It was great to be part of the 11th annual Chautauqua. Your 225+ tent crowd was great, and we really enjoyed the residents of Lewes Delaware, as well as the Historical Society's patrons. We sure would like to know how we could have done a better job, after driving 450 miles, arriving and starting on time, and holding your audience captive for an hour as they clapped and danced and gave us a very warm reception, thank you and applause. We played for half the fee we normally receive, and we even accepted your deposit a full month later than was promised/specified in the contract. Oh well, thanks again for the opportunity.Review by Todd A.

Thank you Toni... What a wonderful wedding at The Lodges in Gettysburg, PA.! Thanks for including our duo line-up in your preceremony gathering, as well as in the ceremony itself and your cocktail hour. We're glad to have fully met your needs for such a special and memorable day. The guitar/mandolin/fiddle combo proved to be just the right thing in combination with the other entertainment. Good luck to the newlyweds!Review by Steve F.

:
Steve, thank you and your family for including us in your family's reunion. We love the hills of PA and Western MD ... And we're fellow river-rats too. Thanks for the hospitality, beautiful and scenic venue (The Town Hill Bed & Breakfast) ... And for just being great humans to celebrate life with and to play music for. Yes.... Kids crawling and dancing and swinging around with their parents and family is about as good as it gets. Thanks again, truly.... Scott Spearly & The Knuckle SistersReview by David B.
