I'm from Kentucky and I know good Bluegrass. Stone Mountain Road is a great Bluegrass band.
Communication was excellent from the time of booking through the time of performance.
They arrived on-time. They were friendly and professional. They accomodated my requests to make announcements a couple times during the show. And after they finished the show and was starting to put away their instruments (and they played OVER the amount of time requested to begin with), I asked they play one more song, Man of Constant Sorrow, and THEY DID! But most importantly, THEY SOUNDED AMAZING! I will be asking them to play more of our corporate functions in the future.

The team showed up early and ready to take care of business, brought their own PA equipment. They were very accommodating and professional and the crowd enjoyed their playing. I would highly recommend them for events.
Considering Covid and the reality that not too many entertainers got out on stage. I thought these guys did a really good jobs well took request. We enjoyed the show and got a lot of positive feedback a good value.

We had an excellent experience with Stone Mt. Road, who we hired for a small family gathering in a park. Jimmy was extremely easy to work with and was always very quick to respond to my emails and questions. He and his band members arrived early to set up, interacted well with the folks in the audience, opened it up for requests, and were kind enough to welcome me and my husband to jam with them for a few songs, which was really fun. They performed from a list of genres and songs I had given them ahead of time, and the music was fantastic from start to finish. We got lots and lots of positive comments about the band from family and friends afterward. They were great!

These guys are great! I booked them for my father's 80th birthday and I'm so happy I did. Everyone loved the music and it really added a special extra to the festivities.
Arranging everything with them was very easy -- and they went above and beyond to make sure that everything went well. I asked them to learn the music for "mnohaya lita" -- the ukrainian happy birthday -- and they did.
If you are in the market for a Blue grass band, I highly recommend them!

Stone Mt Road performed at our 2018 Volunteer Round-up (country themed event celebrating 455 volunteers). Jimmy was quick to respond to emails when we were working out the details. The group was very accommodating with special requests and working with the time and date of our event. They traveled out of state for our event on a Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. The sound was fantastic. Our volunteers danced and sang along. Everyone had a fun night and the atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable. The staff at the event also loved this group! You won't be disappointed!

Stone Mountain Road gave a performance on the concert series at the Haddonfield Center for the Performing Arts in Haddonfield, NJ. I wanted a bluegrass band at our wedding, my wife went along. A week before the date I started to get nervous, thinking everyone else might not enjoy it. These guys were great! Everyone had a blast. They are real pros. The songs we requested were played very well, almost all of our guests commented on how good they were.

Stone Mt Road was the perfect group to work with from start to finish. They were quick to respond to messages through Gigmasters, and were accommodating in both learning new music and performing some additional work (they played us down the aisle for our wedding!) . They arrived on time for our event and were self contained and set up in no time. My only regret is that we had to go take pictures and didn't get to listen to them play more! I highly recommend working with this group if you are looking for great bluegrass for a great price!

We host an annual bluegrass party/barbeque and have enjoyed the past few bands, but didn't love them. We LOVED Stone Mountain Road! These guys were fantastic and will definitely be invited back next year. We had a fiddle, mandolin, bass, guitar and banjo and the group was just superb. I highly recommend them. Amazing talent and sound, very professional and easy to work with, and all of the guests just loved the music.

We booked Stone Mountain Road to play the cocktail and dinner hour at our wedding and they blew away all my expectations. Jimmy was incredibly professional and accommodating to all my requests leading up to the wedding. They were willing to learn a few songs at my request, even on short notice. Most importantly, the band sounded fantastic. They're everything you could ask for in a bluegrass band, with foot stomping music and some killer vocal harmonies. These guys are the real deal. They even got people up and dancing during dinner. I received nothing but major compliments on the band from all the guests. I'd book them again in a heartbeat.

These guys can pick! Stone Mt Road played for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party. It was an outdoor party on their farm, and their music really made it festive and fun. They were super nice, laid back but attentive, came early to set up, and played some great jams (and took requests from the crowd!). At first, the PA system was jacked up a little too high for our little backyard party, but they lowered the volume and then it was perfect. If you are looking for Bluegrass, I don't think you can go wrong with this band. This is a very talented and professional group.

Stone Mt Road played at our wedding and they were a HUGE hit! They have a fantastic repertoire and they played music that fit the mood all night long. We got a ton of compliments from our guests. We had to change the venue at the last minute because of awful weather. Stone Mt Road rolled with the punches. We told them where the new location was a day before the wedding, and they still got there two hours early. They played before the ceremony and throughout dinner, and then kicked it up a notch for dancing after dessert. The music was top notch (they really are professionals) and they were so easy to work with and so accommodating. Recommended without reservation!

Hiring Jimmy Heffernan and Stone Mt. Road for my rehearsal dinner BBQ was a wonderful decision! They showed up early, set up by themselves and were a pleasure to deal with through the show.
Most important, they were excellent musicians. We wanted background bluegrass to make our event more lively and Stone Mt. Road really delivered. Our guests had a blast, complemented us for having chosen a great band and all stayed to celebrate until the very end. I credit them for making it a special night.
Don't hesitate. They're worth it.

This past Memorial Day we had Stone Mountain Road play at our backyard bluegrass and barbecue. These guys are great! They arrived early, set up and started playing. We'd only listened to the tracks at the bottom of the Gig Masters site and were blown away by the band. They delivered everything they promised and left everyone happy! I couldn't recommend this band more highly and if anyone wants to know more about my experience I'd be glad to go on.
