Norm provided Everything we could have asked for in our service . His suggestions over and above our requests and thorough professionalism not only eliminated uncertainties in the program but improved it. Norm was so helpful with really informative information regarding not only his services and song choices, but also filling us in on what Arlington National Cemetery's protocol is and what to expect for our burial service. Norm Weaver, Bagpiper was very professional, timely and had a vast collection of tunes to choose from. He arrived early to be sure his placement was appropriate to be heard, and was dressed in full Scottish Kilt uniform. He made suggestions that helped make the event very special! Piper Weaver was professional and approachable. We hosted a small Burn's Night Supper, and he made our event very memorable. Throughout the process, Piper Weaver maintained open communication and followed through on every aspect we discussed. He was very accomodating - bringing two styles of pipes to best fit our place (in terms of amplification).
As he has piped at many large events, I was honored that he would pipe at our relatively humble supper and made us all feel as though our event was just as important and special as a more formal affair. Thank you, sir!

Norm could not have been better for our special evening. His playing helped to create a magical atmosphere for the party that everyone commented on and enjoyed. Due to family emergency the night before, Mr. Weaver could not attend our event. He informed me early in the morning and had already arranged for a backup, Tim Kirkpatrick. Mr. Kirkpatrick arrived early so we could discuss the plans for the ceremony. I was confident that we would have a successful event, and we certainly did. Mr. Kirkpatrick performed wonderfully and was very pleasant. The playing of the bagpipes during a long walk from our gate to the ceremony location and at the remembrance of members who had passed away in the past year were particularly memorable. Thanks to Mr. Weaver, and to his friend, Tim Kirkpatrick, for taking his place so smoothly.

Mr. Weaver was everything and more then promised! He provided a wealth of information on Arlington’s funeral customs. It was a beautiful day but freezing outside, he looked great and sounded great. He called me when I booked him and answered all my questions then made himself available to me whenever I had a question or concern.
Mr. Weaver from what I could tell is a very genuinely nice, highly talented, extremely knowledgeable bagpiper and even more important, kind human during a time when people like him are greatly needed and appreciated.
He made my brother’s home going even more memorable.

I am pleased that I hired Mr Weaver to play at the outdoor funeral in the country. His vast experience served us well, in that he knew just the right thing to do before, during, and after the ceremony. I especially liked the fact that after the guests had walked down the hill and into the reception area, Mr Weaver remained on the hill, playing a melancholy tune in the wind. I could see his solitary figure from the window down below, and the sight was quite moving. His music added to the dignified atmosphere of the occasion.

Overall Norm was great. He was prompt at every turn turn of the process with the wedding/ceremony. He helped select songs and pair them with the timing of the ceremony. Norm came a couple hours prior to the wedding to get a lay of the land and practice playing before the ceremony which lead to a flawless performance and added a great scottish part to our wedding!
