I searched and spoke with other Bagpipers who highly recommended the Marine Sandpiper. I learned he was one of the best. Joel’s bio sold me and I was not disappointed.
His professional appearance, ability to communicate, respect and dignity he showed the family and musical expertise with the pipes and bugle was beyond expectation. All in attendance had so many positive comments.

Joel was amazing! Great communication, coordination, and punctuality. We held a celebration of life for my parents, and Dad was a Navy Veteran born in Scotland. It was extra special to have Joel, a retired Gunnery Sgt in the USMC, be the musician to send my parents off in style. He is very skilled on the pipes and his music was greatly enjoyed by all.

The bag piping was wonderful...so entertaining and so moving! His interaction with my Dad and all of our guests was perfect. Joel was awesome! I hired him to play at my parent's birthday celebration and it was a surprise for my dad because he loves the bag pipes. He played a traditional Irish song then rocked out with some classical rock oldies, ending with a birthday song for my parents. The guests enjoyed his performance and talent, it was so special and unique. Everyone enjoyed it his performance and singing. I'm very happy I hired Joel. I highly recommend him for your event or party.

Joel was amazing. From the moment we made contact, he was professional and accommodating. His traditional attire was very impressive and brought such dignity to our memorial service. I highly recommend booking MarineSandPiper for your Celtic Event! We asked Joel to pipe while the sun was setting over the golf course for our daughter’s wedding, then pipe guests into the reception. Everyone was thrilled! Joel is very talented and was so professional and impressive in his Marine jacket and kilt. My 93 year old father was brought to tears remembering his childhood. We were all so impressed, and Joel far exceeded our expectations!

MarineSandpiper was exceedingly helpful because he explained the process and the details that no one else knew-he piped for my father's military funeral. I've attended military funerals in the past but was never responsible for any planning. Riverside National Cemetery is extremely busy so getting information can be difficult. Since I was transporting the cremains from out of state, we did not have a local funeral home to walk us through the process. Joel's help was invaluable. His "Parting Glass" was fabulous.
