Ian did a tremendous job of playing the bagpipes at our event to honor a fallen veteran. He worked with me to play a song, "Sergeants MacKenzie's March" which honors a Scottish fallen WW1 soldier and was used in the movie "We Were Soldiers Once..." which he had not played before. He learned it in 2 days and hit it outta the park! Then when our ceremony had to make last minute changes he seamlessly adjusted. Ian is a great musician consummate professional and I look forward to hiring him again soon!

We were grateful for Ian’s talents. He played at my mother-in-laws memorial service and he was extremely accommodating. We had some very specific requests and Ian was agreeable to all of them. Unfortunately we had a horribly rainy day, the event was outside, and we asked Ian to lead a procession down Main Street to the restaurant for our reception. Ian and his talents made this event extra special for our family.

Ian was great! He piped for our Burns Night party. He is a fantastic piper, able to play any tune, and flexible in planning. And he was punctual and collegial. Highly recommend!

Ian made my daughter’s wedding such a memorable event! Every guest remarked on his exceptional talent and how special the music made the event. He’s professional and accommodating, I never thought finding and hiring a bagpiper could be so easy! If only he could show up at every gathering for us!

Ian was a great addition to my event. He's a very talented bagpiper. Inbetween sets we talked about some of the Scottish related history of the historic site and he changed his second set to include more tunes that were outlawed by the British after the Battle of Culoden. Overall he was a pleasure to have at the site, easy to work with and, as I said before, a very talented bagpiper.

Ian is a great musician who arrived early and started playing as people arrived for the memorial. He stood a respectful distance from the grave, but close enough that his music provided wonderful background music. His song choices were appropriate and appreciated, just what my mother wanted. We couldn’t have been more pleased and are truly grateful for what this bagpiper added to the occasion.

I am the son, brother and father of pipers – I know how to pronounce piobaireachd - so when my son was getting married out of town, I was looking for a good musician, first and foremost. Ian is that piper.
Ian played extended sets of medleys worthy of a concert.
I recommend Ian without hesitation. I am grateful for his contribution to my son’s wedding.

He arrived early and left late. Was ready to perform as soon as he arrived. He discussed to confirm what was required of him. Very professional and easy to communicate with. His playing was beyond what we expected and everyone loved him. We had him playing as people were arriving to the church but all the passing cars were stopping to take pictures and listen to him. There was a traffic jam on this little road on top of the mountain. It was amazing!
Thank you Ian for helping to make this day very special,
Paule McCartney

Ian is one hell of a guy and a great bagpiper. On time, played our tailgate party until he was blue in the face, belted out all the hits. If you are in the market for a pipe player, Ian is your go to.

Ian was on time, prepared, willing to accommodate our needs and the needs of the Marines who did the military honors, very nicely dressed in his kilt--we were very pleased that he was able to be with us.
