I recently had Halthepiper play for guests as they arrived to a wedding ceremony. He was on time, and my guests couldn't have been happier with the talent displayed. Halthepiper was easy to work with in setting up this event, and responded quickly and professionally when emails were sent to confirm details. Hal was on time, played beautifully, was very pleasant. We had asked if he would parade down King Street for two blocks to lead the wedding party to the hotel where the reception was. He did this very willingly and I understand, from the Bride and Groom, happily. It was last minutw as it was raining and we weren't sure this part would work out. Hal parked and waited for the affirmative phone call, and with Mother Nature's help, it all worked out and the wedding party and Hal had a ball doing this, not to mention all the folks on King Street who watched them pass by. Hal was terrific and I highly recommend him!

halpiper is a true scotteman at heart as I have traveled to scottland and listened to pipers and he is right there I feel that I was back in scottland and we had a couple from scottland and they were impressed they agreed he was exelent and a pleasure to have at our wedding my hat is off to the master of the pipes

Hal the Piper was just fantastic! This is the second year we have retained him to play at our St. Patrick's Day Party. He is the hit of the party- Everyone comments on how special it is to be "piped" into the party. He has incredible talent and is very personable and responds to all of the guests requests with humor and grace. I intend to retain him for next year's event. He is the best!

Hal the Piper was unbelievable!! He followed through with everything we asked and stole the show with the crowd! It was only our Half Way to St. Patty's day party which was a huge hit so we are extremely excited for our actual St. Patrick's Day party! Hal the Piper was so above and beyond he even played for the waiting line of people after the time he was done!

Hal assembled a small band for our conference opening ceremony July 26, 2010. With nearly 2,000 attendees present, Hal and his band got our conference off to rousing start with their performance. Hal worked with us to meet our needs, and was on time which allowed us to go over last minute details. I would recommend Hal for a large event.

This is true... In a driving rain, Hal saved the outdoor wedding because the harpist refused to play most of the time. He was great and really added to the atmosphere. Le Keough

Hal exceeded all of our expectations. He was extremely responsive as we prepared for the wedding and has an extensive list of songs options. On the day of the wedding, Hal arrived at the church with his apprentice, both of them looking spectacular in the traditional attire. Hal lead all of our wedding guests from the church, through downtown Annapolis to the reception site without a single pause despite the heat and traffic. Our guests were thoroughly impressed and thought Hal's performance added a new level of character and fun to our day. I would strongly recommend Hal to anyone looking for a bagpiper and only hope that we have another occasion to use his services.

He researched all the bagpipers in the Maryland area, and Hal came up rated as the best. He truly was the best!
