Elliott Smith provided an inspirational and moving presentation for my son's memorial service, as well as his gravesite blessing. Elliott discussed playlist options and was open to taking requests, for songs that my son had used as ringtones. Elliott was patient with the timing of the services and adapted his playlist to the cold weather constraints. His rendition of Amazing Grace was exceptional. Thank you for honoring the extraordinary life of my son, Brennan Martin Schwab.

My dad played the bagpipes since before I was born. The instrument played a major role in his life. Having Elliott there to guide my father's final journey back home was perfect. It was more than I could have asked for. I didn't even bother to suggest any songs. I knew he'd play the ones my dad liked....and he did. Sending Elliott much appreciation and gratitude for his professionalism and touching tribute.

I was VERY disappointed with this musician. I did appreciate the fact that he showed up on schedule but his appearance was disheveled. He played three songs that lasted approximately 20 seconds each and left. The quality of his performance was poor at best. The songs he did play were out of tune. I would recommend that this musician retire his bag pipes.

The client asked for 15 minutes of music , I played Star of County Down , and Findlandia, in the room where most were seated. I then played Wearing of the Green , O Donnel Abu , Minstrell Boy , Dawning of the Day, Flower of Scotland , Highland Cathedral , She Moved through the Fair, Rowan Tree, and Amazing Grace in an adjacent room to allow people to be able to talk . It was a judgement call on my part but my guess was that people were trying to visit. I wore my my bands best uniform, which included jacket, my uniform parts are all very new and well maintained. At one point I did attempt to speak with (Barbara ) but she was getting her picture taken.

Mr Smith provided all the requested music, the snare drummer, and they both played well. He went beyond, in learning new music and suggesting that the group sing a chorus which was out of the bagpipe's range. He provided copies of the lyrics enough for people to sing along to this. When it turned out that I had chosen different verses, he quickly adapted and used the lyrics I provided copies of. I would recommend Elliot highly, and am grateful to him and Gigmasters for making this event in keeping with my father's wishes.

Mr. Smith was extremely courteous, professional and patient. He waited at the cemetery for us for 30 minutes in the cold just so he would be there as we all arrived, waited through the service and played at the perfect time as well as when we were all leaving. My family couldn't be more thankful for this perfect addition to a sorrowful day. Amanda
