He was amazing! The karaoke bar he surprised my at mom was still talking about him a week later! It was easy to schedule and set up especially considering I'm in Florida and my mom's in California. My mom requested a song from The Scottish Rogues and BAM, delivered flawlessly! He was knowledgeable about the history of bag piping, attire, and contemporary pipers. I would absolutely book again. Stephen played at my father's memorial. It was the perfect ending tribute to my Scotch-Irish dad! Stephen was very accommodating with my multiple questions and changes to the music selections prior to the memorial. He showed up early, looked amazing and his bagpiping very moving.

Stephen was great! Pipes were not welcome in the resturant so we gathered outside, he was so good that it didn't take long for a crowd to form. I highly recommend Stephen, besides a great musician, he is also a fun and friendly man. I will call him again.

This was a great gig I played for a wonderful client and her guests. I arrived a little early and struck up the pipes and played some rousing tunes out on the sidewalk as the restaurant wouldn't lets us play inside. This didn't dampen our spirits one bit though. Everyone was clapping to the beat of the music and we had some participation from passerbys. One elderly lady even got in the middle and started to dance. It was a lot of fun. I got to play some favorites as we had requests from the public and my clients. We of course had to hear Auld Lang Syne in memory of Robbie Burns as well. It was a great time and Bonnie was a dear to work with as well.

We had family members show up late to the funeral service- over 40 minutes late. Stephen patiently waited and was very understanding; despite the fact he had to stay by the gravesite on a hot day. We appreciated his kindness.

It was after regular work hours when I discovered it was our Showrunner's birthday the next day. I found Stephen on "Gigmasters" and had little hope that I would hear anything because of the late hour. However, he called me right away and re-arranged his schedule to accommodate us so we could surprise the boss! Our boss ended up loving it, and was moved by Stephen's performance. If ever I need a bagpiper again, he'll be the first I call!

It was truly a pleasure working with Stephen. He is the only piper who proactively followed up with me when it was getting close to the date of my party which I really appreciated since I had 1 million tasks on my plate at the time. He was reliable, well versed, dressed appropriately and was very entertaining. If your budget allows I'd highly recommend Stephen for your event, you'll be very happy with him.

Steven was a very kind person and was available on very short notice. He accomodated us easily, quickly coodinating at the Graveside with the Military honor Guard and our Priest. His music was very touching and many comments from guests were made that the music was beautiful! I only wish he would have played a couple more songs . Thank you very much.....our family was very proud to have you help us honor our Father.

Thanks for your kind review Patricia. I had a lot of your family and the Funeral Director all personally thank me for doing a good job. I appreciated that. I played the moment I saw the coach but had to stop to allow the Funeral Director to talk to the pall bearers and I had to speak with the Honor Guard as well. Ensuring all is coordinated with the director, minister/priest and Honor Guard is something I do to be sure all runs smoothly. At the end of the service I played Amazing Grace 5-6 times, then played Going Home, Abide with Me, My Home, The Skye Boat Song, Danny Boy, Flowers of the Forest, When the Battle's Over, etc... until almost all guest were gone.
