Musical heart strings played as a strong trio for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier! It was very much "set it and forget it"... We told them a free songs we wanted, and gave them free reign for everything else... It was PERFECT!

Musical Heart Strings are an amazing group! We worked with many vendors for our wedding and they were easily the BEST vendors to work with -- the most responsive, accommodating, flexible, and genuinely interested in making our day amazing! And they did! The musical talent is superb! They had to work with intense wind in an outdoor venue overlooking the SF bay AND they escorted our guests to the cocktail hour, playing and dancing as they went. They also learned a special song for us and played it beautifully. This is the best musical group, with amazing heart, talent, and genuine desire to make any event perfect. The ladies could not have been kinder, easier to work with, or better received by our guests, which ranged from grandmothers in their 90s to 20-somethings that geeked out hard when they performed the Game of Thrones theme song. Incredible repertoire spanning the elegant and expected to playful and unexpected. And they even stayed longer that night when we decided we wanted them to play during dinner at the last minute. Very heartily recommend them to any other bride.

Having Kerry and Gretchen play for the ceremony and cocktail hour of my daughter's wedding reception was quite simply the best money I've ever spent. The ladies are very easy to work with, and highly professional. My daughter chose traditional music for the ceremony, and I left the music for the cocktail hour to the discretion of Musical Heart Strings based on their experience. They did a fabulous job and everyone was in awe of their very presence.

We hired a pianist, cellist, violinist, viola to play at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They did a terrific job! Their beautiful music filled the room and were highly responsive and flexible. We asked them last minute to add another player, and they quickly secured a cellist per our request. They have an extensive set of music; we chose classical music for the ceremony, and movie scores/modern music for the cocktail hour. Our program ran 15 mins late, and they offered to play until the end of our cocktail hour. Their extension was a little steep ($25 per musician for an additional 15 mins). We were extremely happy about their performance and professionalism!

A very good ensemble, extremely professional with very communicative leadership.
They solved all of the music issues for the wedding.
They understood the requirements even better than I. They nailed all queues and overcame all coordination confusion.
Our event was outside on a very hot evening; this always presents challenges of tonal control but the group consists of very experienced musicians. They maintained a good sound and kept the energy up through their sets. Our event was a success and Musical Heart Strings provided beautiful accompaniment and a perfect complement of class and professionalism.

Musical Heart Strings is a wonderful string quartet. Several of the guests at the wedding made similar comments, that the music was "elegant and fun". My daughter-in-law was able to have the exact music she wanted--Kerry and Gretchen helped put everything together perfectly. I would highly recommend this creative and talented group to anyone who wants to make an event something really special.
