To put it simply, Matt was amazing at our event last night. Not only was he talented and professional, he was also extremely engaging and warm with all of our guests. Multiple people in attendace complimented our staff in our entertainment choice due to his excellent performance. Matt helped to make our already special evening that much more special by being able to read our guests and deliver just what they would enjoy. I highly recommend Matt for any kind of event, because I know no matter what kind of day or evening you have in mind, Matt will make it just that much better.

It's not often that I read (or trust) so many 5 star reviews for anything. But believe the truth behind all of these! Matthew was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning. A true gnetlemen. Our (often hard-to-please) guests were impressed with his talent, demeanor and selection of music and many have already followed up to ask how we found him and how they can get in touch for future events. My husband and I were very behind schedule in out music selections but Matthew learned a potential first dance song in a matter of hours! Incredible! I highly recommend him for any event. You will not be disappointed.

How would we describe Matt in one word ?
AMAZING!
Matt performed for our wedding and he went above and beyond!
His personality, voice, and charm all blended perfectly together.
Matt got to our wedding 90 minutes early to set up and performed through
out our wedding. All of our guests enjoyed his stylish
singing, especially all of the children. They were non stop dancing.

Matthew is a true professional and very sensitive to the needs of our event, which was a mix of children and adults. He's extremely accommodating and easy to work with which is greatly appreciated when trying to juggle all the demands of planning for a big event. I would highly recommend him for any event.

Matthew is a true professional and artist. He was great at reading the crowd of our event and tailoring the music to fit. He had a huge variety of songs and was well prepared. Awesome guy, great entertainment, can't wait to have another event to hire him again!

Matt blew us away again!We had the privilege of having Matt entertain us last year for my daughter's communion.Matt played an incredible selection of acoustic songs that were perfect for the venue. Fast fwd a year later-Matt's totally up'd his game!He still brings the ability to play a range of acoustic songs,but adds the ability to play w/ a full band,complete with backing vocals.He goes above and beyond to make sure every aspect of his performance is perfect.Matt played an incredible range of songs from the Peppers to Johnny Cash to Earth,Wind & Fire.He had us all dancing & singing,enjoying every moment. It's w/o question a must to have Matt play your next event!

Matthew made my 40 th birthday bash really wonderful!! He was very entertaining and accommodating. This is the second time we hired Matthew. I highly recommend him. He is an extremely talented musician and a very nice person! Matthew try's his hardest to please everyone! He is also very dependable .

Matthew performed a 2-hour set of guitar and vocals for a small birthday party in Manhattan.
Arriving on time wearing a nice grey suit and tie, he began playing instrumental classical music on his 12-string guitar. Then as the night progressed, he adapted to the guests' mood performing vocal / acoustic guitar sing-a-longs. He also worked in some backing tracks which filled out the sound and got the guests dancing. From then on he took requests for the rest of the evening as the guests danced, sang, and laughed.
Leading up to the event Matthew was always quick to reply to emails, and easy to deal with.
Highly recommended and my first call for future events.

Matthew was a pleasure to communicate with while arranging our party. On the day of the party he arrived early with a big smile on his face and we immediately knew we were going to have a great night. Not only is Matthew extraordinarily talented, he also has a wonderful personality. Our backyard party was just a casual gathering of friends, but having Matthew perform elevated it to a night we will all remember! The music was outstanding! I would not hesitate to use Matthew again, and will highly recommend him to anyone! (Ps he even went the extra mile and learned my favorite song!)

Matthew was amazing! From the moment I requested a quote, he's been the most accommodating and attentive person throughout my whole wedding process. Though I'm a very laid back person about planning, he was very diligent, precise, enthusiastic and he was very intent on getting back to any question or concern I had within moments. The first time I ever contacted him, he treated me as though I'd been a long time friend whom he couldn't wait to see and play music for! My wife and I have known Matt since his years at Göttingen University in Germany. Now that we have a son who really loves music we thought of having Matt in concert for his 10th birthday. As we live in Estonia, Matt gave the concert via Skype. We're proud to be the first people Matt performed for over the Internet. Video and audio were crisp and clear. Matt played all our son's favorites and the whole crowd at our place had a real good time. Musically, Matt is a genius. Add his humor and flexibility, and you have a great gig. If you live too far away to have him in person, having him via Skype is the next best thing. Thank you for making our son's birthday special!

Matthew is an amazing talent ! He plays beautifully, sings beautifully and is a beautiful person inside and out! He somehow makes you feel like you've known him for a long time even though you just met him. He is professional and well spoken. Matthew made our party a success! Everyone kept asking us where we found him and many of our guests asked for his business card. A true talent!!! We are going to hire him for our daughters wedding, so she can walk down the isle to the sweet sounds of Matthew's guitar.

This is the 2nd time we have used Matt for a very important day in our lives. First, it was our wedding and now our daughters 1st birthday party. We have been blown away both times. First of all, Matt was in a minor car accident on his way to the birthday party and still showed up on time and ready to rock. That just shows how much dedication Matt has to his clients. Everyone at the party loved Matt's music and we have received many compliments on our decision to use him for the party. We can't wait to have Matt play at our next big function. He is the best out there and you won't be disappointed!

We had originally planned on hiring Matthew to play our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour but after meeting with him we felt he would be perfect to play the entire wedding. Our friends and family thought it was a very risky move but we felt Matthew fit perfectly with our beach wedding vibe. From beginning to end he brought professionalism to a whole new level.
At the wedding we got compliments on his performance from too many guests to remember and he created an atmosphere we had dreamed of but never imagined possible. He truly comes with our highest recommendation, so much so that we've decided to write this from our honeymoon on the beach in Bermuda.

Our experience was wonderful. Matt was a true professional during the entire process. We had a few discussions leading up to the event to make sure we had all his needs met for set-up, location etc. and he arrived early to make sure all would go smoothly. He created the perfect vibe for our daughter's college graduation party. Many guests (young and not so young) commented how talented a performer Matt was and how they enjoyed relaxing, listening and watching Matt, as if they were at a concert! We look forward to when we can invite Matt back to our home for another gathering of family and friends. Having Matt at our home created a lasting memory for all!

Matt was professional as always. He was on time and prepared. The guests and our neighboring stores were impressed with his performance. Matt took requests from some of our guests also. His sound was very laid back, cool, and relaxing. Since the last time he was here he had some new material and background music also.
