This was the 2nd time I hired Dave for a party at our house. He's great to work with and so accommodating. He's a great musician with a wonderful voice and a wide ranging song list. We were able to select the songs we wanted him to include from his extensive song set. All our guests were raving about him. He made our party a big success! Would highly recommend Dave!

From the first review of Dave on Gigmasters.com, I knew he would be perfect for my daughter's engagement party. Dave is a very talented musician with an excellent voice ~ guests ages 21 to 81 commented on how much they enjoyed his music! In addition, he is also a wonderful DJ and had our family and friends dancing to the end of the evening. Both my daughter and I were very pleased with Dave's music selection and that he knew exactly what to do to keep the party flowing. Do not hesitate to hire Dave for your event!

Dave was very professional and did a great job at our garden style event. We were looking for a mix of mellow acoustic tunes and then periods of upbeat dance tunes. We chose among the songs in his acoustic catalog and then we got to provide a list of other favorites that he DJ'ed. He also accommodated some ad hoc microphone use by different folks in our party which was really great and fun.

Dave was fantastic. He played guitar and sang at the adult cocktail hour for our children's B'nai Mitzvah. We spoke prior to our event and he was amenable to all our song requests. He was very professional. We received many compliments on his performance. We would highly recommend him.

Everyone at our party mentioned how much they enjoyed Dave's performance.
Dave did a great job. He showed up on time, was ready to start exactly on time, and fit in perfectly to the experience we were trying to have. When he took his break, and when he finished for the evening he just put the iPod back on without being asked.
Our event was outdoors. At one point, it started drizzling, and I thought everyone would run inside. No one did-- they all stayed outside to listen to Dave.
We were very happy with our experience.

Dave was the easiest part of planning my party.
He responded IMMEDIATELY to any emails/requests I sent him, he arrived VERY early to the party and was completely set up and already playing when I walked in 15 minutes before guests arrived.
He is EXTREMELY talented, with a wonderful voice - all of my guests commented on how good he is.
He even sent me a nice note about the party the next day.
Dave is a top shelf musician and a wonderful addition to ANY party.

Dave was fantastic and made our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception memorable! Dave is so talented singing and playing his acoustic guitar that all of our guests commented on how wonderful he was.
Besides Dave's great singing and acoustic guitar, he also changed over to our DJ for the reception. Dave played great music and kept the crowd dancing. He was able to change the music up for all age groups all night long. Dave is so personable and professional in everything he does. There are not many musicians who sing, play acoustic guitar and also DJ so we were so excited to find Dave for our wedding day!
Just wish the day didn't go by so quick!

All I can say is David surpassed my expectations. He performed this past weekend at my wife's 40th surprise b-day party and everyone (120 guests) was raving about him. He is veteran performer, great voice, and guitarist. Dave really made our 40th Birthday party a success! He was very professional and asked us for any specific song requests. He showed up early and started right on time. He is extremely talented with his singing and all of our guests were raving about him. I could have listened to his singing all night! We did have him switch to his DJ talent half way through the party which was so much fun. He got everyone dancing and showed us how to do some dances. I would highly recommend Dave to anyone planning an event. Thanks Dave for a great party!

Dave is extremely professional, easy to work with, and has a classy demeanor. His voice sounds very much like James Taylor. He sang and DJ'ed our son's wedding and really had the crowd on its feet. The only thing that puzzled me was that he deviated from our pre-planned outline of songs and did his own thing. Some examples-- the hora should have been first, and it ended up being towards the end, and he inserted songs we didn't request. All in all, it didn't matter - everyone enjoyed the party. I'm guessing he just knows what *works*. By the way, Dave is also a GREAT dancer - didn't know that came with the package! Dave seems to really enjoy his job!

I found Dave Bywater on gigmasters last year and after reading all of the rave reviews, I knew we had to have him for our September 4th Wedding. I can't really express in words how amazing he was. Days after our Wedding we were still receiving calls from our guests telling us how amazing our DJ was. He was SO much fun! He really got the crowd going and he brought all kinds of props which was awesome!! All of the kids and adults loved him. Truly, SO MUCH FUN and he really made our reception memorable and a total blast. Absolutely without a doubt will RAVE about him to all of my friends for years to come and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone for any type of event.

Dave was the perfect choice for our wedding. We did all the wedding planning from Australia and Dave was very good at returning emails and accomodating our requests. He provided music at the chapel, cocktail hour and reception and nailed all three. Beautiful voice and great personality!

Dave is very talented musician! He made our wedding day so special by not only customizing his services to our needs but even learning a song by my husbands favorite band to preform as a secret dedication during our reception! The live music during cocktail hour and while our guests were eating was only matched by his wonderful selections of dance classics to get out guests jumping after dinner. It was a beautiful day and Dave truly made the reception more than we could have asked for. If you are hesitating DON'T! He is extremely talented, professional and made our day fun and memorable. We look forward to using him again for other family functions.

Dave was our musician and dj for our wedding. He was tremendous. Our guests repeatedly complimented us on him. We had a wide range of ages at the wedding, from 99yrs to 3 months, and Dave played music to fit everyone's tastes. He was especially good at keeping the younger kids involved. Dave brought glow sticks for them and you would have thought he gave them gold they were so excited. We would not hesitate to recommend Dave to anyone, or hire him for our next event.

I cannot put into words how amazing Dave was!! He played the guitar beautifly and had a voice so smooth for the ceremony. Then came the cocktail hour, I wish I could say I was able to hear him:( I did have most of my guests tell me he was wonderful! They said the music was diverse and perfect for any music lover!! If you are looking for someone to really make your day magical choose Dave!!

Dave did a fantastic job at our wedding. His playing at the ceremony set just the right mood: joyful, musical, and sentimental. We worked together beforehand on the play list, and he graciously added several songs at our suggestion. At the reception, Dave went beyond our expectations and made it a lot more fun than we could have imagined, both as a singer and a DJ. We had a lot of positive comments from our guests, they all loved him. We would highly recommend him to anyone for any occasion. He is versatile (both DJ and live music), and very accommodating such that he was able to get a feel for what the guests enjoyed and hit the nail right on the head.
