Our service club hired Steve to bring us an Oktoberfest evening. He performed flawlessly, fulfilled our every expectation, and thrilled his audience with his choice of music. In baseball terms, it was a home run! I can recommend Steve as a consummate professional.

Steve Rice is absolutely wonderful! His music set the tone perfectly for the wedding, and I was lucky enough to have him play both accordion at the beginning of the reception to set a French cafe tone, then switch to piano for the dancing part of the evening. Everyone just loved him. Thank you Steve, and also to your wonderful violin, bass, and acoustic guitar playing friends who did such a lovely job as well!

I booked Steve Rice for a Birthday party. He arrived early, and was very flexible. The experience was better than I could have hoped for and Steve did a great job selecting tunes and entertaining the guests. He is a very talented musician! I had many positive comments about the music! The Gigmasters sight made booking the event easy

My only regret is that we (the bride and groom) didn't get to enjoy his music more, the only time we heard him play was as we walked down and away from the aisle, the guests got to enjoy all of it. But what we did hear was wonderful, beautiful french cafe music, very romantic and atmospheric, tunes from Amelie too, super fun for a wedding. He was VERY accomodating beforehand too, quick to respond, flexible and patient and cheery with our indecisiveness and changes. We wish we would have spent the extra money and had him at the cocktail hour as well. Very talented, so glad we found him.

Steve was GREAT! He showed up on time (early, actually). All of his equipment was self-contained, ready to go and he took no time in setting up. He was totally flexible about where and what he played.
After toroughly entertaining the crowd with their suggested selections, he added suggestions of his own which were perfectly matched to the mood and tone of the event. During occasional breaks between sets, Steve was charming and friendly. I know he impressed our guests, many of whom later asked for his contact information.
For our own part, we'd recommend him to anyone we know, and will use him exclusively, from now on! He's a consummate professional!

Our event was a wine dinner. Steve was perfect and made the event! As requested, he played French and other folk songs on the accordion and inspired our French winemaker to sing along. It was exactly the ambiance we wanted. He came early and hardly took a break. During our main course, Steve sat down at the piano and played a fabulous jazz piano set. He is very musical and very talented; really a top-notch jazz pianist. Steve was a big hit with our crowd and music always makes a party memorable.

Steve did a wonderful job at our event. Steve was very responsive and easy to deal with during the plannning phase. He responded right away to my request, and was easy to contact by phone or email. He performed for a French-themed back to school party preceding Curriculum Night. His repetoire was perfect, with combination of classic French accordian songs and renditions of Edith Piaf ballads. At the beginning of the evening he serenaded guests as they arrived, then as the crowds gathered, he wandered among the guests. The volume level was perfect -- loud enough to be heard above the noise of the crowd but not too loud to drown out or disrupt the conversation.

I would write a lot more about Steve, but they have not saved my comments twice because they went over the 650 word limit.
All I can say is he was wonderful. He had a diverse repetoire, dressed in a tux as requested, and was fun, unobtrusive, and a complete professional.
His accordion was great! (And I don't even like accordian) And his piano was fun and had people dancing! I don't think the party would have been the same without him!
It was my mom's 90th birthday, and he helped make it a very memorable occassion.
Thank you Steve,
Sheila Gavin

I hired Steve for my fathers' 75th birthday party. I have to admit, I felt a little odd hiring someone off of a website. My uneasiness was proven unfounded. He travelled from Seattle to Surrey, B.C. He had a slight hold up at the border, but made it in time to surprise my dad. All my guests enjoyed his playing as he wandered about and mingled with everyone. Thank You, Steve!!! Dad loved it!

Steve and Tony played at our Italian Dinner this past weekend. They helped set the mood and got people into the theme of the dinner. We enjoyed them immensely, Steve is a wonderful accordionist as well as a nice guy. Tony was very professional and had a lovely voice that was beautiful to hear during our dinner. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for traditional Italian music. They helped make the night special.
