Paul Pfaff Guitarist from San Antonio, TX

Hello ! and thank you for visiting my Gigmasters page. My name Is Paul Pfaff and I am an event guitarist available for : weddings, restaurants, corporate and private parties, funeral services and many other venues. I have been performing for over 7 years and also teaching guitar, piano, theory and composition. I have given master classes and performed at places such as LIU for the Long Island Classical Guitar Society, Suffolk County Community College, where I got my Associates degree in music, The University of Nevada Las Vegas and other venues such as churches. I knew early on that music would be a big part of my life. In high school I began playing in rock and metal bands and playing local bars and entering battle of the band competitions all under the coaching of a great long island, local player, Jeff Denny. Then in college when I began studying classical guitar with Michael Belajonas, I fell in love with acoustic guitar, specifically Spanish music and fingerstyle acoustic guitarists. Michael has been my biggest influence and mentor for me in my guitar playing. While working on my BA at UNLV I decided to put my musical focus on composition. Music was like a bunch of different wondrous puzzles to me which i felt compelled to learn and figure out the secrets behind. My studies, my wide variety of experience and enjoyment of so many different types of music makes me very capable of playing in any style , with emotion and elegance while also being able to create solo guitar arrangements of just about any song you could think of. This is why I love the acoustic guitar, I believe it to be , one of the most dynamic , beautiful sounding instruments there is.
