Gypsy FUNK Squad World Music Band from Montclair, NJ

Gypsy Funk Squad is a world music band that plays classic folk belly/world dance music. We have dancers that love children and fire dancers too if needed! But we can play without the dancer/dancers also. Songs from Turkey, Armenia, Egypt, The Balkans, Israel, Lebanon, with revamped rock/pop/dance tunes and original psychedelic surprises are thrown in...belly style! Or we can just play the world music without any western songs. The emphasis is on fun and a dancing good time! Gypsy Funk Squad has played over 200 shows including mermaid parades, Faerie fests, culture fests, restaurants and weddings.Having people join in is a joy! We would love to be involved in your event too. We have party lighting available as an add. We can DJ between or before/after our set too if needed (about $150 extra). We also drum for weddings.
