Will remain masked and physically distanced (6+ feet) to ensure additional safety of you, your guests, and myself. --- Born in Los Angeles, seasoned in New York City, and now based in Western Massachusetts, Sam Gillogly (they/them) began training in violin at age six on the island of Martha's Vineyard. They hold a Bachelor’s in Performance, summa cum laude, from Berklee College of Music in Boston. Sam's notable past positions include Principal Violist of the Boston Civic Symphony, touring member of the Tim Janis Ensemble, and member of the innovative multimedia Youtube Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall under the direction of Michael Tilson-Thomas. As first violinist and artistic director of anime soundtrack cover quartet Spellbound Strings, they have performed at various pop culture conventions and as part of the Music Under New York program.
