Maestro Leónida Violinist from New Orleans, LA

Maestro Leónida trained at the B. Marcello Conservatory in Venice (Italy), earning a Bachelor's degree in violin and then embarked on a career as a professional violinist in the most important chamber orchestras of Venice, as violin soloist and concertmaster. An eclectic musician, he specialized in baroque and classical music, but also in Argentine tango, ethnic music and as a conductor also in symphony and opera. He has a very high number of concerts to his credit and is now busy teaching the violin and string instruments in general, and performing for private and exclusive events. He presents himself as a Classical violinist, and includes the Blues, Argentine tango, Fiddle and Broadway genres in his repertoire. Also available in duo with accompanying pianist/organist.
