Originally from British Columbia, Canada, award-winning violinist Madeline Hocking has a rich background in classical/contemporary classical music, as well as experience in other genres such as celtic fiddle, pop, bluegrass and jazz. She has had extensive performance experience on an international scale, with concerts at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, National Sawdust, and Chan Center, among countless others. She holds a Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelor of Music from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Since the age of 11, she has been hired to play at wedding ceremonies, holiday gatherings, dinner parties, municipal events, and other services. She has plenty of experience working with a wide range of event organizers, and is happy to customize her services to fit the needs of a specific occasion.
