KeyReel Raskolenko is a professional, accomplished violinist and fiddler with nearly 30 years experience of playing violin. His experience includes performances in Classical, Gypsy Jazz,/Swing, Celtic traditional music (Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton) and Pop and Rock compositions. He is a member of several orchestras in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area, and a chamber music player. He also plays in a few jazz bands around DFW. He is extremely versatile and well-versed in each of these disciplines and more. There are numerous options for his set-up. He can play acoustic violin with a small amp and supporting tracks, or electric violin with interesting sound effects used to produce the unique sounds often heard in Pop, Rock, Funk and Jazz. (His set-up could be battery powered. In most cases - no electricity required). Across all of his disciplines, he plays them as they should be played… meaning that he has a deep understanding of each style and the appropriate techniques and sounds that should be applied.
