About Vendor
Learn more about this vendor for your event.
My name is Richard Hubbell, originally from Hawaii, I am a professional one man band of 17 years, based in the Myrtle Beach, S.C. area. I've performed at weddings, night clubs, charities and private parties. My show: I play all of my background music myself and take the time,(13 to 16 hours per song), to make it authentic in sound and structure. Playing guitar and singing with the music gives me the opportunity to do many varieties of music. I use the top of the line equipment so as to perform Sanatra to Skinnard with the strings, horns, bass and drums, etc. I hear often from my audience that I sound like a whole 16 pc. band, which after 18 years playing in a band is what I feel. I've Played professional music for over 39 years working in 10 states on the east coast from Baltimore to Daytona; 18 of those years with my band X-Caliber, at the time, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I've always had a love for many types of musical entertainment, hence my eclectic song repertoire. I have had many songs featured on radio stations across the south east and was fortunate to do a show with Chubby Checker in Myrtle Beach on the the T.V. show "On The Beach". My Music has reached as far as London, England in 2009, with the song "Shag With Me". Over the years I've performed and opened with, The Tams, Billy Scott and The Georgia Profits, and The Platters.
