Newman is a 21 year old hip-hop artist out of Raleigh, NC and student at Virginia Tech. Incorporating an eclectic taste in music, he is fast becoming known for not only his unique choices in soundscapes, ranging in one instance from a trap-heavy banger to an alternative sample of Twin Sister or Lianne La Havas, but also his variety of flows. Newman has shown abilities to confidently spit at a dizzying pace while also slowing things down at times to meditate on truly gripping, introspective subject matter. With the recent release of his debut project "TheTRIP.", it is only a matter of time before the passionate stylings of the young rapper reach out far beyond humble beginnings on the East Coast.
