Hgt is the band to hire! My wedding was a few weeks ago, and I still have people telling me how much they enjoyed Hgt. This band will adapt their playlist to play to the crowd to keep them on the dancefloor. I had a wide variety of age groups invited and they were all impressed with the band. We booked HGT for our June 22nd wedding ceremony and reception. Everything was perfect. Don and the band accommodated every little request we had for the ceremony and the reception. They had everyone from our 8 year old flower girl to our great aunts out on the dance floor the entire night. They were excellent at reading the crowd. They went into the crowd, invited people on stage, and played all requests. Countless wedding guests have commented on how great the band was and how much fun they had. We recommend them for any and all events you may have. They will be without a doubt our first choice the next time we need a DJ or band.

We were SO happy we booked HGT....they were so professional and Don was so great to work with. He was very respectful and accommodating to what we wanted. The whole time we kept getting compliments on the band and we're still talking about it the next day! They were so much fun and they are all VERY talented. If you want affordable, live entertainment, I highly recommend booking with HGT. They made our wedding that much more memorable!!! THANK YOU HGT!!!

they are an amazing talented band!! We are big polka fans; they did an awesome job with them as well as the variety of songs and different music they played. My daughter (the bride) sang a number to her husband which no one knew about accept her and the band...they were very accommodating to her as well!!

The HGT were a fantastic band. You have 5 retired music teachers who all play multiple instruments. They obviously play drums, guitar, bass, etc. however, they play tuba, trumpet, cow bell, etc. which is really unique.
They play many different genres of music. Don (band leader) is easy going and easy to work with. They interact well with the crowd and will cater their personalities to your specific crowd. They are well priced in the market and a happy group of guys.
I would strongly recommend that you hire HGT for your next event. We had them for our wedding, and they were really a hit with our guests.

We booked HGT for our wedding reception and were extremely pleased with the results. They were able to play music appealing to all ages on a variety of instruments. They were extremely flexible and any song that they did not know we could play on an IPod using their sound system. They are all incredibly talented musicians in addition to being entertainers.

I booked Home Grown Tomatoes for our September 2011 wedding and was beyond impressed. After deciding we wanted a live band, we next started searching for a band that could play music from multiple genres. We had an outdoor wedding of over 300 people and both the logistics and acoustics were perfect. The band came early enough for us to use their microphone for our toasts, and were professional, fun, and most importantly, great musicians. We wanted a band people would dance too, and the dance floor was packed the whole night, and we also received many compliments on the choice of music/live band from so many of our guests. I would highly recommend them.

We were not sure what to expect having only heard songs from Gigmaster's website, but they were within our budget and had the variety of music we were wanted for our wedding reception dance (danceable music for ages 4-80).
We were very impressed with HGT band. They definitely exceeded our expectations. We received many compliments and inquiries about the band and how we found them. One of our main hopes was that we would have people dancing. We weren't worried for long as the dance floor was overflowing for most of the evening. At the end of the night, both the guests and the band seemed to want to keep going, but we had to be out of the room.

We had such a wonderful time with HGT band at our wedding reception. Received lots of compliments on how much fun they were and how great the music was! Would certainly highly recommend them! (Felt there was maybe a little lag in communication between band members as far as the list of songs we requested and final payment... but no troubles in the end...) Loved every minute and would certainly encourage others to choose this band for sure!!!

We hired the HGT band for our September wedding near Birchwood, WI. We wanted something different than just a DJ and they delivered! It was refreshing having a band that can play anything from swing band to country. They were even gracious enough to learn a few songs for us. Our violinist double booked himself and could not play our ceremony, so I called HGT and they agreed to do our ceremony and learn TWO songs in less than 48 hours! We had so many compliments on how fun they were and we would recommend them to anyone for a wedding or special event!

Home Grown Tomatoes was exceptional. We had to move our grand march up by one hour and they easily adjusted to this last minute request. Our guests were a wide range of ages and everyone enjoyed this band. My family was more than pleased with the members of Home Grown Tomatoes and we would book them again.
