Cody Geil Music Variety Band from New York City, NY

Cody Geil is an accomplished freelance violinist, singer, and band leader. Her musical versatility spans across genres, from classical to contemporary, allowing her to perform and collaborate with world-renowned artists and ensembles. Cody has performed with high-profile artists such as Kanye West, Christina Aguilera, Jonas Brothers, Childish Gambino, Residente, St. Vincent, Zucchero Fornaciari, and Robin Thicke, to name a few. She has also appeared at major events like the Nelson Mandela Day Concert, Barack Obama’s Inauguration, and the US Open. Cody leads a few different bands. THE CODY GEIL BAND- What started as a jazz band many years ago as morphed into more of a variety band. Our band brings a unique blend of timeless jazz from the Great American Songbook, French classics, and reimagined hits from the '50s, '60s, and modern eras (often with a twist). The ensemble can range from an intimate duo featuring Cody Geil on vocals and violin, to a trio, quartet, or a full group of 6-7 musicians, tailored to create the perfect atmosphere for any event. ECHO CHAMBER ENSEMBLE- The Echo Chamber Ensemble is an unlikely pairing between accordion, harp, violin and vocals meshes a new blend and take on a small chamber ensemble. Much like the salon music popular during the 19th century- this group offers fresh interpretations and arrangements of a variety of genres. Harpist/vocalist Stephanie Babirak, Accordionist/vocalist Erica Mancini and are the other members of the Echo Chamber Ensemble. Additional musicians can be added for a larger group. FOUR IN ONE STRING QUARTET- The Four in One String Quartet seamlessly blends classical elegance with modern flair, performing both timeless wedding standards and dynamic pop arrangements. Whether setting the mood with traditional classics or exciting guests with modern hits, this quartet brings a unique and versatile musical experience to any occasion. RUST AND WILD ROSES- Our honky-tonk band delivers a nostalgic yet fresh sound, paying tribute to the legends of old country like Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, and Johnny Cash. Alongside these timeless tunes, we mix in rockabilly favorites from Elvis, the Americana soul of Springsteen, and even a touch of indie rock for a unique and energetic experience. Perfect for those who love classic country with a modern twist.
