Andy Warren Trumpet Player from New York City, NY

Andy Warren is a versatile trumpeter in the New York City area. With extensive training across many genres of music, he is an ideal candidate for events where multiple styles are necessary. For example, instead of hiring a trumpeter to play fanfares during your wedding ceremony and hiring a different set of musicians to play jazz standards at your reception, consider utilizing the talents of just one musician, thereby saving you precious dollars on an already expensive event without sacrificing musicality in either setting. New to the NYC area, Andy moved here in late 2013 after a 9 month international tour of the musical Dreamgirls. Prior to that, he freelanced in the Detroit, MI area and taught at a youth jazz program through the Detroit Symphony Orchestra after graduating with a degree in jazz trumpet performance from the University of Michigan in 2011. Notable teachers include jazz trumpet star Ingrid Jensen and William Lucas of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. In his career, Andy has become comfortable with a multitude of styles including jazz, classical, pop, rock, R&B, funk, soul, Balkan, and Brazilian.
