The Evans Sisters (Joy, Gracie and Ginny), along with two of their husbands (Terry Hoffman and Bill Logan), of central Pennsylvania bring the legends back to life with their Patsy Cline and Friends Tribute Show. The sisters have been singing together since childhood and have now been captivating audiences throughout the region with the music of Patsy Cline, Connie Francis, Lorreta Lynn, the Andrews, McGuire and Lennon Sisters, Andy Williams, and many more. HISTORY Joy, Gracie and Ginny Evans, all from Central Pennsylvania, have been singing together since childhood. Some 21 years ago Joy, of Elizabethtown, began singing with several local bands in the Central PA area. Encouraged by several band members and audiences alike, she began concentrating on the music of Patsy Cline, eventually launching her Patsy Cline Tribute Show in 2003. She subsequently expanded the show to include the music of two more legends - Connie Francis and Loretta Lynn - both sung by her sister Gracie of Manheim. Finally, their sister Ginny of New Berlin was added to form the present trio. While Joy and Gracie continue to do their respective tributes to Patsy, Connie and Loretta, the addition of Ginny now adds the wonderful nostalgic harmonies of the Andrews Sisters, the McGuire Sisters, the Lennon Sisters and more. Recently, the show has been expanded again to include the enduring melodies of Andy Williams, sung by Ginny's husband, Terry Hoffman. With the addition of Joy's husband, Bill Logan, on the sound board and an occasional duet with Joy, the show has been enjoyed by audiences as far away as Tennessee. WHAT TO EXPECT We usually begin our show with the music of the 1940's and '50's, featuring the all-girl trios of the Andrews Sisters ("Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy"), the McGuire Sisters ("Sincerely") and the Lennon Sisters ("Sentimental Journey"). We do like to interact with the audience, and we've found that our audiences truly enjoy that aspect of the show. The next phase of the show requires the sisters to perform individually as Connie Francis, Loretta Lynn, and, of course, Patsy Cline, again with audience interaction. Obviously, this necessitates several costume changes, which are accomplished while others take the stage to sing assorted songs of the 1960's, from various artists such as the Everly Brothers, Nat King Cole, Frank and Nancy Sinatra, and especially featuring Andy Williams. This constitutes our typical one-hour show. However, with such a wide variety of numbers available from each legend's repertoire, the show can easily be expanded to 90 minutes or even up to two hours.
