They where absolutely amazing! They where very punctual to the even and where already warmed up and ready to go prior to their start time. Everyone was dressed in accordance with the theme that was set. I loved the selection of music they choose. The female vocalist was wonderful! 10/10 I would definitely book again!!

They were incredible!! They learned every song we asked for and even helped us do a special song mash up for our first dance. The vocals were incredible, the instruments sounded amazing, and the entire band was so much fun! Our friends and family could not stop talking about how great they were! If you’re having a wedding or special event, I highly recommend them!! 20 out of 10!!

Sexton Entertainment Group was wonderful to work with-they did a great job of creating perfect ambience for our event at the ASHE Cultural Center in New Orleans. Mr. James Sexton and The Sexton Connection were absolutely perfect for this special occasion. The Sexton Connection are extremely professional and talented musicians. Every song played was befitting the entire occasion as well as several request songs. Additionally, every musician and artist were extremely polite and intelligent. I entrusted the Sexton Connection Band with providing music for my Memphis wedding. It was one of the best decisions I made. They were professional, on time, and sounded great! They provided a string quartet that played during the actual wedding ceremony that added a sense of elegance to the ceremony, a 9 piece soulful band for the reception, and a played playlist of songs I selected. Their price was very reasonable and worth every penny! I got a dj, string quartet, and 9 piece band all in one. If you’re looking for a band that can provide elegance and soul to your ceremony, I Highly Recommend the Sexton Connection!

James and the Sexton Connection were absolutely great. He was a pleasure to work with from our initial conversation all the way through the event. Booking with him was easy and seamless. On the day of the event, the band arrived before before their scheduled time and worked within our constraints for an outdoor event. They were great before they played a note, but, when they did, they blew us away. All the musicians were super talented. They understood our event and had people up and dancing. I can't wait to use them again!
