Alex Nester and her band play a wealth of fun, upbeat cover material--everything from old school funk/soul to today's hits. Whether it be Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Prince, Bruno Mars, Beyonce, or even Lady Gaga, her goal is to get everybody smiling, dancing, and making great memories with their friends and family. She aims to appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds because she believes music is a language of positivity that speaks to all! Whether performing solo with her keyboard, with her small 4 piece band, or with a whole kitchen sink of musicians, Alex Nester can accommodate whatever your specific event needs may be. Solo, duo, trio, four piece, and beyond--you name it! She will make it happen! Alex has a large body of original work too, which she loves to perform as events dictate. Alex has opened as a solo artist for acts such as Earth Wind & Fire, Chicago, and Dave Mason, and has shared the stage with Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder, and The Four Tops. She also headlines at #BurnItDown, a cancer benefit concert series she has put tons of her own blood, sweat, and tears into. As a cancer survivor herself, it is important for her to help give back to the community, as well as help support those in need.
