Often rowdy and always soulful, a group tarot ceremony is an ideal marker of a rite of passage. Drawing cards together sparks deeper conversations and strengthens vital friendships. During the event, each person receives a reading—perhaps about career, relationship, or most common, “WTF am I doing with my life?” questions. The cards anchor us back into larger cycles of growth, provide solace through tough times, and encourage us to stay on our path. How it works: We turn off our phones, gather in a circle, and take a few breaths to center. As each person receives a reading, there are often a few tears, lots of laughs, and plenty of group discussion. We follow up with a round of appreciations for our guest of honor to affirm why she/he/they are so deserving of our love and respect. We close with pictures and reflections to bring home. Our Facilitator: Led by Sadie Chanlett-Avery, tarot reader and yoga instructor for over 20 years, the event will be fun, illuminating, and will give everyone a deeper connection to everyday magic.
