My name is Holly Cole and I have been a professional Tarot Card Reader for 17 years. As a fourth generation psychic-empath, Tarot is one of my absolute favorite modalities to use. A reading with me often includes healing, clarity, insight, direction, and validation. I love what I do, as each reading is incredibly fulfilling for both my clients and myself. My style of Tarot is thought-provoking and full of understanding, love, and a good dose of laughter. I make sure to explain what each card means so that you can connect with and understand your reading yourself. I often say "it takes two to Tarot", and what I mean by that is that you should feel free to contribute, ask questions, or "help steer" the reading whenever you feel called to do so. The more you connect with the reading yourself, the deeper we can go. How Does Tarot Work? Tarot can be thought of as a message from the universe, your higher self, your subconscious, or all of the above. During a reading, I will guide us through a quick grounding and intention setting, and then ask you to shuffle the cards (or I can shuffle for you). As we shuffle, we divinely or subconsciously order the cards the bring out our own personal and unique message. Once we lay the cards out, we can learn a lot about your energy and life at this time. Tarot at Parties and Events Tarot is an incredibly fun and unique addition to any party. I find that often it becomes the entertainment centerpiece as comparing readings is a great conversation topic for guests. Whether it's a corporate event or a bachelorette party, Tarot is always a memorable, one-of-a-kind experience that your guests won't soon forget. I am also happy to help contribute to the theme of your event if you would like. I have participated previously in winter/holiday themes and events, carnival themes, Halloween/haunted house themes and events, baby showers, weddings, and many more. For parties and events I typically use a 3 card reading (past/present/future) for individuals which takes roughly 7-10 minutes each. I can also offer couple's 6 card readings which cover past/present/future for each person, and takes roughly 15 minutes each. If you're hosting a smaller event, I can offer larger 6 or 10 card readings (past/present/future/root causes/hopes or fears/farther-future/etc.) I always bring a sign up sheet or buzzer system with me to parties to keep things moving, and to be able to try and read for as many people as possible. This also makes it so that your guests don't have to stand in line while waiting for their reading. I also always encourage people to take a picture of their reading with their phone so that they can keep it as as souvenir, and be able to reflect on their reading later. I am also happy to text a picture of your guests' readings to them in case they don't have their phone handy. Virtual and Remote Events If you are wondering if Tarot works as well when it's done remotely and not in person, the answer is YES! In fact, I did about 90% of my readings during Covid remotely. Readings can be done on Zoom or Facetime, and I will also text or email you a picture of your reading so that you can follow along with it during the reading. Private Readings I am also available for private readings either in person (in the Portland-metro area) or virtually. For private readings I use a larger 10 card spread which goes far beyond just the basic past/present/future, and takes 30-60 minutes each.
