The Third Coast Jazz Band specializes in all styles of jazz that is accessible to the listener with out losing its artistic integrity. We perform for many private events each year and are very familiar with how to turn your event into a complete success as well! We have performed for many high end events, such as the Academy Awards/Oscar's Pre-show Party in 2007, 2008, and 2009. In 2011, we performed for the celebrity weddings of Leanne Rimes and Chad Lowe and received rave reviews. We are prompt, reliable, professional, and easy to work with. We provide all of our own equipment and can handle all phases of weddings and private events. We can provide anything from solo acts (such as solo guitar) up to a septet. We even work as a big band, so we can provide almost any arrangement of performers. Our typical format is guitar, saxophone, upright bass, keyboards and drums, though we work with vocalists (both male and female) and a multitude of instrumentalists regularly. Duo and Trio performances are also available. We also perform material outside the jazz genre, making us the perfect group for all events. We can cover almost any style of jazz, from swing to bop, hard bop, big band, 40's jazz, latin, brazilean, acid/groove jazz, blues, R and B, funk, Rock, and Motown. We also provide traditional ceremony music for weddings. We can provide terrific references and never leave a customer dissatisfied.
