Professional, stylish and captivating, The Gem City JazzCats are from Monrovia and perform throughout Southern California. Whether at Private or public events, audiences enjoy The JazzCats! The band has offered their mixture of Swing, Jazz, Rock, R&B, Vocal and Instrumental hits at private parties,weddings,corporate parties, concerts in the parks, street fairs and fund raisers, including shows for City of Hope and The American Cancer Society, Veterans Benefits and Tributes. The Gem City JazzCats,under the direction of Ron Towles began as a collection of Monrovia High School musicians revisiting their shared history. Over several years, the band's musical talent and personnel list have evolved dramatically. The JazzCats' sound benefits from the experience of its players and now features 3 fine Vocalists in the form of Wendy Hinkle, Kim Federoff and Jim Johnson!
