Classic vinyl era rock n roll...it's what The Main Thing band is all about. We are a band that specializes in playing classic rock tunes that most bands wouldn't be able to play. We are a four piece band that plays like a five piece due to our piano man who also doubles on guitar. We have everything necessary to make you're event a memorable experience. We have been together for years and have played all over California and beyond. Whether it is a concert in the park, wedding reception, a show at a club, a corporate event or party, or backyard barbecue, The Main Thing is sure to get you on your feet dancing! Here's what one of our most recent clients just sent us after a gig for spring training baseball in Arizona, "Everyone loved you guys! You exceeded my expectations. All night I had people coming up to me and complimenting your band. Your attention to room dynamics, crowd vibe, etc...everything, was absolutely top-notch. Thank you from us all to all ofyou!

Wow what a band! They knocked everybody's socks off this New Year's Eve. I was a little afraid at first to book a band off the internet for my large gala on NYE - I worried that they wouldn't get the crowd going. Sugah Daddy quickly got rid of all my fears by getting the whole party started and keeping the crowd dancing until midnight. The singing was brillant and the trumpeter walked out into the audience to everybody's amazement. Everybody left the party with a huge smile on their face and I've had about 10 people in the last day ask me who they were, how much I paid for them, and if they would play at their own party. That's when you know you booked a good band!

I hired Sugah Daddy for my wedding at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach. Many of my guests praised the band and a few who had a very long trip home stayed very late just to hear more music from Sugah Daddy. The band was extremely courteous and professional, and even learned to play a Korean folk song at our request. Sugah Daddy is a great band and a great value considering their very reasonable fee. I highly recommend Sugah Daddy.
