Florida's premier 20s Band, Gatsby Band and Jazz Band specializing in Speakeasy, Roaring 20's, 1940s, USO and non themed events. Z Street Speakeasy Band is a dance band (not singers with a track) that performs 20s and 40s Jazz, Swing, and Sinatra songs, but unlike other bands, they can transition into Rock, Pop, R&B to todays hits to pack your dance floor. (Most guests prefer to transition into more contemporary music as the night goes on.) Available from 2 - 8 pcs, they’re fully self contained with sound and lights and are preferred vendors for Universal and Disney. They’re fully insured and Incorporated, which most venues require. The group prides itself on performing over 140 events annually and they reside in Central Florida. Led by trumpet player, vocalist Mark and vocalist Kathy, this high energy dance band takes your guests back to the prohibition days, incorporating Charleston contests, costume contests and more. Unlike other Gatsby bands, they have not one, but two vocalists (male and female) to cover all the chart topping hits from yesterday to today along with the Z Street Speakeasy Band. The Z Street Speakeasy Band is an established group of musicians that have been performing together for years. Unfortunately, there are other Gatsby Bands out there that hire "pick up players", (subcontracted musicians) that have never performed together before, and are hired by an out of state or out of the country talent agent. In many cases, the musicians have never met before. The Z Street Speakeasy Band does not use pick up players or sub contracted musicians.
