J-Bob & Lefty (& More!) Swing Band from Ashburnham, MA

WHO WE ARE: Aged just right, like a fine wine or mellow whiskey, the rich voice of J-Bob (Jason Eisenberg (GUITAR/VOCALS) is energetic and uplifting, even when he sings the blues! And he's no slouch on his amplified acoustic '69 Gibson either. Den (Lefty) Poitras plays an AMAZING STRING-BASS of his own design and he doubles on a UNIQUE PERCUSSION KIT. Lefty is also an accomplished FLAUTIST and BOWED DULCIMER player (a cello-like instrument) both of which are perfect for ceremonial music. You won't believe your eyes and ears! Our band members have performed with REGIONAL and NATIONAL RECORDING ARTISTS and have TOURED INTERNATIONALLY. WHAT WE DO: We perform lots of '30s, '40s and '50s SWING, BLUES and JAZZY BALLADS, plus a variety of STANDARDS...even a few TANGOS. We can perform as a DUO, TRIO, QUARTET OR MORE by adding other gifted musicians as your event may require - from INTIMATE ENSEMBLE to swingin' DANCE-BAND. We perform for all kinds of events including parties, weddings and receptions. We continue to promote our LARGER ENSEMBLES (quintet or more) according to your needs, including horns/reeds, piano, drummer, etc. Prices are negotiable. Our DUO includes guitar/vocalist and bass/percussionist. Our TRIO includes the duo plus versatile violinist.
